Jason is the BEST!! His haircuts are always perfection and somehow they grow out so beautifully. I have been seeing him through all phases of life and he has made my hair allll of the colors and he nails it every time. He is always down for a hair change (even if you spring it on him lol) and gives a great consultation. And for all of his experience, his prices are the only thing in this town that aren’t inflated. He is an artíst and just a solid human all-around!

Jason, the owner, is an amazing stylist. Highly recommend the salon and its staff.

Jason is a nice guy, but a completely overrated stylist. My highlights came out thick, stripe-y and crude. He cut my bangs way too short IMMEDIATELY after we discussed what a huge problem it is for me. I went back to have my bang area color fixed, as there was a thick stripe of too blonde hair that was farther from the root than the rest. He added in a TON of lowlights which look grey; now it doesn't blend with the rest of my hair. Cried and cried. My hair wasn't perfect before, but now it's a total mess. I have no idea what to do, and I wouldn't let him try to fix it again anyway. So, so bummed. Super expensive too.

I’m guessing all the people here are amazing based on what I saw there the three times we have been. Jason is amazing with teen boy hair. An artist. Can do it all. There was also a perm specialist man there as well. All the stylist working were clearly very good. This place is legit.

This place is SERIOUSLY THE BEST HAIR SALON IVE EVER BEEN TO! Whether it's dying or cutting or both, it always turns out even better than I'd hoped. Incredible work and incredible customer service. I always feel safe and welcome here, and come out with incredible hair. THIS is the place to go!

Penny the receptionist is AWESOME. In an age when so many bookings happen online only, Penny is a real breath of fresh air and she’s a solid professional. Jason is an amazing hair stylist too. He really listens to what I want and responds well. Red is typically hard to get right but he has consistently done it, even when I ask to change the shade a bit. I’ve never been great at being a regular at a spot for my hair but I think it’s because I haven’t found Stranded before.
