Scarlett is meticulous, patient, and listens & works to meet your needs no matter how small. her work is extremely consistent and she always delivers on exactly what i ask for! K Baucom is a professional and warm salon environment that everyone should feel completely comfortable in. i am never switching stylists!!

K Baucom Salon is an absolute gem! The stylists are not only incredibly friendly but also truly educational—they take the time to explain the process and help you understand what’s best for your hair. What I really appreciate is that clients are never double-booked. When you're in the chair, you are the top priority, and the experience feels calm, focused, and personalized. Heather is currently helping me grow out my grey, and she has been amazing every step of the way. She explained the process clearly and made me feel confident about the journey. I love that we’re working as a team to achieve the look I want. Highly recommend this salon for anyone looking for expert care and a welcoming atmosphere!

I moved to Richmond from LA, leaving behind a stylist that I loved and trusted. I found Scarlett by asking every person with curly hair that I saw where they got their haircut (and also Reddit). Had my first cut with Scarlett a few weeks ago and it is excellent. We had a lil chat about my hair goals before she started and all my concerns were heard and taken into account. I will 100% be going back to Scarlett for my next cut!

I’ve been a client here as long as I’ve lived in Richmond. Scarlett is my stylist, and she’s fantastic: particularly if you’re a curly-haired person seeking someone who understands your hair’s needs. I just had a trim from Lindsay for the first time, and she did an outstanding job. Macie is a rising star. Katie, the owner, is just a lovely person and I always enjoy my chats with her. This is a warm and welcoming place.

I moved to Lakeside in 2020, and have been going to KB for my hair since then. All the stylists are great, but for my fine curly hair, Scarlett is the REAL DEAL. She has literally transformed how I look, but in realistic, manageable ways, and delivers on more modern, alternative cuts. I trust her with my life. My only hesitation leaving a review like this is a fear that she'll get too popular and I won't be able to get an appointment.

We were so lucky to discover Scarlett. She is the most amazing stylist. She takes the time to listen to what you want, and offers great suggestions . I have been SO HAPPY, with my haircut, and styling. Scarlett is a 5STAR STYLIST !! Everyone at the salon is so nice , and super friendly !! ♥️

I had a hair disaster from a salon that I will not name. long story and very stressful, one made short, the folks at baucom got me in for help the same day i called. They weren't gonna let me suffer. Skyler was my hair rescuer. I could not be happier. Actually i'm absolutely thrilled!!! You cannot go wrong with these folks. It is a beautiful place too. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in the door. I had to call them back this morning and thank them. I got up and I was brushing my teeth and looked in the mirror and even with bed head I looked and felt good about my hair. Thank you, Skyler, thank you.Thank you thank you!
