Alana Kai Salon

Got a full balayage done by Candence yesterday and I couldn’t be happier! The color turned out gorgeous. The salon has such a lovely ambience, and the staff is incredibly welcoming and professional. They really make you feel comfortable from start to finish. Definitely coming back Alana Kai Salon!!

I had an amazing experience at Alana Kai. Karen did my balayage and haircut and made sure I was happy at every step. She was so sweet and knowledgeable and I can't recommend her highly enough! She helped me figure out what I wanted, explained what she was doing, and was so gentle! Most importantly, I love my cut & color 🙂 The salon was also super comfortable and relaxing. I was a bit hesitant about booking an appointment with a salon that had so few online reviews but quality over quantity and I imagine they'll have more soon. Book them, you won't regret!!

Keyla is a real gem. Best haircut I've had! She really took the time to understand the vision and executed perfectly. She also blow dried my hair with a low heat hairdryer and my hair has never been smoother. She was completely understanding when I was quiet and wanted to shut my eyes for the entire appointment. It was the most relaxed I've ever been at a hair salon. I don't live locally and I will absolutely be coming back to see her. Thanks, Keyla!

So my double v shirt after having my hair colored at Alana Kai Salon! Cost a bit more than the tip I left. I went in for a touch up after just shy of 6 weeks. Still over 180.00. Over 200 with tip. I called after seeing this and was told not a policy to reimburse damage done by the stylist from the manager, who is my stylist whom I followed from Aveda at Short Pump! As you can see from the photo it is on the back where the back tag is and also where the color dripped down off of the towel onto my top. So not happy. And the salon clearly not happy to keep a customer who followed someone there. Disappointing … so with that less than a star.

I always have a great experience at Alaina Kai with Christina! She is a master artist with color and strives to meet my requests for cuts as well as give me her honest opinion when my ideas get a little too "out there" ( for which I am always grateful). Christina shows she really cares along with being intuitive and skillful at what she does.❤️

This was my first time at Alana Kai and I can honestly say this will be my permanent hair salon from now on. The environment was calm and cozy and the staff were all so kind. Alex was my stylist and she was AMAZING. She really listened to what I wanted and asked questions to ensure my results were perfect. I got blonde highlights that she was able to blend into my gray hairs. I'm obsessed with how it turned out and I had such a good time relaxing. Alex was super personable and can hold a conversation but knew when to let me just play on my phone and enjoy some quiet. I highly reccomend her to anyone. Even if you're just looking for a quick blowout, go to Alana Kai!
