Got a haircut today and it was fantastic work!! The hair is leveled at the back and layered in the front just as I asked. Will definitely come here again.

To all my asian brothers, this is THE place to get your hair cut on the EastSide. May has a ton of experience and executes flawlessly. There's no fancy lobby or a hipster vibe, just experience , skill and a very reasonable prices. I would pay more if they asked.

First visit with May and was extremely pleased with color correction of my previous highlights (two tones of reddish/brown) and precision cut. Detailed and efficient, May listened and understood the goal. Will definitely be back.

Nice people. I presented pictures of what I wanted, but the final result was very underwhelming. My head looks like ET from my hair puffing up from the sides being cut too short. It looked better before the cut. I came home and immediately started a down perm to remedy it. Secondly, I asked if credit card was ok over the phone. Then during checkout, the ladies charged me 5 bucks extra for paying with card. I disputed initially, but they said just consider it "tip." I gave up and paid 50 bucks to not cause a scene. So 2 stars from the unsatisfactory haircut + the extra charge.

Today was my first time visiting this salon, and I couldn't recommend May more! I am ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE with my curly hair. May was incredibly patient and worked with lightning speed. I remember the last time I got a perm, it took about 4 hours, but she managed to do it in just 2! Additionally, her prices were lower compared to most salons. Before working on my perm, she also took the time to trim my damaged hair ends, and surprisingly, didn't charge extra for it. I am beyond thrilled that I stumbled upon this gem of a spot and that I now have my new go-to stylist. I wish I could give this place 10 stars!
