This might be the best haircut I’ve ever gotten, but the customer service was so good, I feel the need to talk about it first. Kiji was extremely welcoming, and he really helped me figure out how to curate the haircut I wanted to fit my actual hair/face shape. The salon is very well kept, and he plays great videos on tv to keep you entertained. When it comes to rating the actual haircut, I agree with the other review in wishing there was a way to rate this as 6-stars. The cut was THAT good. For a guy with curly hair, every haircut is a leap of faith. This guys KNOWS what he’s doing and I will be back. Reasonably priced as well!

Just got my haircut today, I’ve been to many salons and I think Kiji really nailed it. He was welcoming, kind and worked with my hair to get the best result based on my hair texture. He’s very experienced and understood what I’m looking for based on a couple of references I showed him. I will definitely come back for future haircuts! Thank you Kiji!

This is a gem of a place, likely the best haircut I’ve gotten! My stylist was amazing, the scalp massage while washing my hair was so nice, and my hair looks incredible.

Amazing haircut for a great price! I went in as a walk in and is now the only salon I will go to. The way he cuts hair is a unique twisting method that always gives my cut great shape and volume. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a new, no fuss salon with great results!

Had the worst experience here a while ago- the elderly lady cut my hair. She didn't seem to speak any English and only spoke to the other male stylist (maybe her son?) when I'd ask her questions. The scissors she was using must've been blunt, cos it kept yanking my hair- at some point the pain on my scalp became unbearable and I asked her to stop and change the scissors. She then started speaking loudly in Mandarin at the other stylist and this was really uncomfortable to sit through, as a customer! My scalp felt numb for the rest of the day- I was stupid enough to go back for a second haircut since the location was convenient and that time the male stylist did my hair- he was nice and I liked my haircut. But the older lady must've recognized me and she started speaking loudly again at the stylist, obviously about me- needless to say, I didnt go back after this

This is legitimately the best haircut I’ve ever gotten, Kiji ate DOWN. Took his time with my hair, was patient and answered all my questions, and genuinely cared. Plus such phenomenal prices for the area. So lucky to have found my go to spot in New york

I just had a bad experience. Kiji was my hair dresser. I went in for highlights, I really think he doesn't know what he is doing. He fried my hair, bleach my highlights for what seemed 3 hours. I'm darker skinned so I told him make sure it's not blonde blonde, well , it was a catastrophe. Once he blew out my hair I could tell it was too blonde for my skin, it looked harsh,the highlight looked thick and not blended. I told him that I didn't like it and he started getting upset, I kept saying" I don't like it , it's not a good job and I'm not happy " I asked if he could darken it and use more toner or something and he wanted to charge me like 140 bucks extra. I was mortified to leave the salon looking like a horrible beach blonde mess. My hair is fried. Now, I have to spend more money to correct this horrible job. This time I will go to a real salon that knows what they are doing. Please please don't go to this salon go to a professional salon.
