Baby, clutch your scalp and dig into those roots. Mizz Karina gave my hair life, shape, attitude and that boom. No, lie my confidence and beauty were revived. Fingerwaves, a relaxer, plus a delicious haircut and here I am. Get into it . Mizz G.G is an excellent receptionist and then some. Thank you for being welcoming and sincere. I enjoyed myself. I relaxed, conversed and felt genuinely welcomed. Honestly, as a whole the entire salon staff was on point. Professional, inviting and truly engaging people. Thank you all, clientele and stylist, I enjoyed my afternoon with you all. It feels too great to feel good. Smooches and see you again. Honey Salon, sweet and sassy, gorgeous and classy. Kindly, Kat

My wife and daughter had the mist wonderful experience at the Honey Salon. They were extremely knowledgable about the health of the hair and equally skilled at the beautification and styling aspect!!!! This is our Uptown go-to!!!!!

I found this place on Instagram, when I desperately needed help with my hair. Months later my hair is growing beautifully and I have fallen in love with my hair again. My stylist Karina has does wonders for me, she is amazing let her hands bless your hair…lol. The front desk team love them very welcoming, supportive and professional. The other stylists are very friendly and always say hello even if you’re not their client. It’s a very cool environment you don’t feel judged. Give this place a chance.

Staff are always friendly. Octavio always does an amazing job with my pixie. The environment is welcoming and the music is always on point. The most important component is that my stylist is consistent I’ve never had an issue with my cut and style, he’s always on point! Thank you! And the offering of coffee, champagne, or water is a great touch and provides a feeling of being pampered.

I came to this salon for a silk press and possibly a cut. Since I was from out of town and not at my usual salon, I was hesitant about the cut, but decided to go ahead after speaking with the stylist, Michelle. She told me, "$100 if we cut, $150 if we just do the silk press with no cut." From there, the experience was disappointing. Michelle herself did not wash or blow-dry my hair — other women handled that part. She only straightened and cut. I specifically asked for the cut to be done on wet hair, but she refused, saying she didn’t like cutting that way. The haircut itself was extremely basic, took about 3 minutes, and left my hair looking flat with no volume. It got to the point where my cousin had to tell her to stop because it was starting to look bad. At checkout, the price jumped to $275: $150 for the silk press (which took maybe 30 minutes), $100 for the haircut, and $25 for a conditioning treatment. The pricing was not transparent or upfront, which felt misleading. I’m normally a very generous tipper because I know the hard work that goes into doing hair, but this service was not worth it. Instead of gaining a loyal customer (and my cousin, too), Michelle lost both of us. We will not be returning.

I’ve been going here for a year since a major cut where I was essentially starting over with my hair after years of damage. I see Chloe once a month for a silk press and my hair’s condition has improved greatly thanks to her work. She’s also given me great advice and guidance not just on styling, but scalp maintenance since this year I was suddenly experiencing dandruff which I never have before. Chloe is wonderful, as is the entire staff + the music playlist is always great!

My new go to salon! The salon is beautiful, clean, quiet and relaxing. The staff are warm and friendly and I felt like my hair was well taken care of from beginning to end. The techniques they use are incredibly gentle to ensure the least amount of heat damage to your hair. All in all a very high quality salon that I am extremely happy to have tried out. Thank you for taking care of me, Michelle! 🩷
