I stumbled upon this salon during a recent trip to NYC and I'm so glad I did! My friend and I got blowouts by May and Gary, and they were both absolutely amazing. They really took the time to make our hair look perfect. Our blowouts turned out sleek, bouncy and lasted all day - exactly what we were hoping for! Highly recommend!

My hairdresser was a guy with an arm tattoo and medium length silver hair. I suggest if you are a girl— do not do a haircut with him!!! At first, it was fine, but he spent such little time doing my hair. My hair afterwards was so choppy even though I requested for thinning and layers. It’s like someone just put a saw through my hair and walked away!!! I spent two hours later at home fixing my hair till 1am… It was honestly the most stressful experience I had. He also had zero manners. Do not recommend.

I’ve been a client with Gary and Susie for decades! I lived in Washington, DC for a while and would come back for these two incredible stylists when I need a cut and color. They are attentive to your wishes and would be honest about your style. The assistants are excellent too with their head and shoulder massages! And, I really appreciate Gary making house calls to cut hair for my elderly parents who have mobility issues. I’ve referred several friends to Gary and they continue to be regular clients! Highly recommend to you!

Manny did a good job and helped with the styling and choosing what to get done, given my flat Wasian hair. Everyone speaks Cantonese. I only know a little Cantonese, but everyone spoke enough English so it was fine. Cash only. Will come back.

I have been getting my haircut by Ray at V One in the last decade or so. Ray has always done a great job. I have referred family and friends to Ray and they are happy customers too. Today I took my older sister there and Ray transformed her.

I asked for long layers with curtain bangs and an ash blonde balayage and I got exactly what I wanted. I’ve went to Gary for these past years and I’ve loved my hair every time. He does an amazing service and makes sure you leave feeling great about your hair.

The guy with a bun was rude, strange and had no manners for someone working as a hair stylist. When he was cutting my hair, he kept yanking my hair and pulling on it. When blow drying my hair, it was on max heat and burned my scalp. There was literal smoke coming out when he was roughly using a comb to blow dry my hair. I assume he was trying to style my hair, but after 10 minutes my hair was still straight. Nothing changed except damaging my hair. The blow drying was longer than the actual hair cut. The hair cut was poorly done. Left with a headache. Never had such a horrible experience at a hair salon.
