Takamichi Hair

I’ve been coming here and Tina cuts my hair. I usually leave happy, but my last visit was very disappointing. The cut isn’t what I asked for — my bangs are much shorter than I wanted and the overall shape is wrong. One side is also noticeably short than the other. My husband noticed before I even pointed it out. Lastly, the stylist insisted on adding face framing to make it look "cleaner" even though I said I only wanted the length taken up a little. She seemed more focused on her own opinions than listening to me. Also felt very rushed towards the end of the service. Unfortunately this appointment felt like a waste of time, and I won’t be returning.

This was my first time getting a haircut at takamichi. I read some reviews and decided to go with Natalie, she did not disappoint! She knew exactly what I wanted and I have to say the best haircut I ever gotten in my whole life. Also she is sooo lovely and had a great time talking to her. I’ll be back in nyc in December and will definitely book with Natalie.

I have to give a shoutout to Carina at Takamichis for giving me such a solid haircut. Her attention to detail on a men’s cut was unmatched, she’s a wizard with the scissors and makes sure you leave feeling good about your cut. The conversation was easy and natural, you really can’t ask for more than that. Plus, the space is beautiful too. Highly recommend!

It is so nice to have your haircut and completely trust your stylist. Natalie and I just talk a whole bunch. I come in, have some tea and walk out with a new sense of self. She is so skilled and I like that I can trust her! Everyone here is so professional! It really is worth it!

Natalie is absolutely the most beautiful, caring, hair professional that I have ever met. She is truly an artist. She has blessed my tresses with a keratin treatment, a much needed haircut and her famous blowout. Today she corrected my many shades of blonde and gave me the most beautiful color that enhances my complexion and brightens my eyes followed by her famous blowout. The assistants are so sweet and attentive and follow Natalie’s instructions perfectly, they are so gentle and caring that I literally fell asleep while getting my hair washed and conditioned. You owe yourself the gift of having Natalie’s hands in your hair, you won’t regret it! I love her!🥰

Amazing in every way. I see Natalie South but everyone seems to be professional and talented. Natalie is a dream come true, full package of talent. I get Sezane treatment with her, the best haircuts (I was recently out of town and cut with someone else and instantly regretted it)— Natalie gives any hair the shape it deserves. Cannot wait to try coloring with Natalie — and of course for my next haircut to reshape! So grateful for this salon!! 🤍

I can't evaluate the quality of the services because, due to the dumb administrators of this salon, I missed my appointment. They asked for my credit card information and warned me that if I was late or didn't show up, the fee would be charged. When I arrived, the salon was closed. Please fire them and hire competent administrators.
