I’ve gone to Kevin several times now for both perms and haircuts, and every single experience has been amazing. He truly listens to what I want, takes the time to look at my reference photos and videos, and somehow delivers exactly the look I’m hoping for every time. Beyond the great results, he’s also incredibly thoughtful—he always gives me tips on how to maintain and style my hair so it looks good long after I leave the salon. Amazed with the result of my first ever curls perm. Steve did an amazing job! I’ve been looking for a knowledgeable hairstylist to help me with my dream to curl my very straight thin hair and Steve not only did that, his knowledge and experience of many years guided me through the whole process. Highly recommend Salon HQ. It’s always an appointment I look forward to. I’ve been going to see Poh every six months for the past three years. She is incredibly skilled (especially with my hair, which is fine and straight) and is wonderful about collaborating with me on my cut and the level of curl for my digital perm. Poh is also just a joy to be around. The entire Salon HQ team are genuinely good people and I’m so happy they’ve moved into their new space, it’s fresh and perfectly suits their needs, they deserve it!

Kevin is clearly very passionate and detail-oriented about his work. I bleached my hair from black to blonde and also had a toner process. I could tell he was putting a lot of thought into how he was coloring my hair. He then spent a lot of time scissor-cutting my hair and then explained in thorough detail how to style it. I really appreciated his teaching.

My teen son had a great experience with Steve for his first perm! The results turned out amazing. Steve guided him through the whole process and helped him choose a style that really suited his hair texture and overall look. Highly recommend!
