& Plus salon

Recently got my hair permed by Barry (I hope that's his name, at least that's what's shown on the Venmo transaction; he has white, short hair, wearing glasses). I've got so many compliments on my hair since then! He is the only hairstylist who has ever told me to use a hair diffuser to blow dry my hair to not damage my curls and still keep them in shape. He is truly the best. I have been to this hair salon (not this specific location but their other, older locations) for years, and I live in Westchester now but I still go all the way down to the city to get my hair done here because this is the only place that really can perm my hair well and have it turn out beautifully 100% of the time.

Such great service at an amazing price. The place was so cute too. Ask for Lee— he helped cut my hair perfectly and framed everything to my face. I left the salon so happy with my hair (which doesn’t happen all the time) and will definitely be back! Highly recommend 🙂

I’ve been getting my haircut and color with Lucas for 10 years! Needless to say he’s the person I trust most with my hair. I moved out of state a few times, tried other stylists and have always gone back to &Plus. He’s efficient, straightforward and my hair color looks great every time.

This is not ash brown. Arghhh I specially asked to be slightly cooler tone and not this light!!!! I want it to be warmer / a little darker but not red abs bright!!! Arghhhhhhh I will avoid Asian salons from now on, or maybe just this one. And I am Asian!!! I’ve been coloring my hair for 20+ years, don’t try to educate me on how asian hair works. you just need to improve your skills and knowledge!

Go for Kazuki! He is absolutely talented at what he was doing! He did a ashy blonde balayage on my hair and it looks super amazing!!! This takes a while to be finished so be prepared to spend 4-5 hours at the salon! But it’s definitely worth the money and time!

This is my go-to Salon in Manhattan after I relocated to NYC. Tina is always my top choice and she is the best hairstylist. I have been going to her for a clean & stylish haircut for the past 3 years. She always listens to my requests and makes me surprised about the result. Sometimes Tina even recommends I try new hairstyles that I didn’t realize were a good fit. I always get a lot of compliments from my friends and family after every haircut visit.

I haven't dyed my hair for so long because of previous bad experiences. But I really liked Tina's hair color, I asked her to do my hair the same color. She was very patient and gentle with me, very easy to talk to. She doesn't stress me out like other hairstylists do. I love my new hair color!!! I will definitely come back to dye my hair again in the future.
