Michael Wang - Men’s Hair Specialist

Michael has been my barber for almost four years (I even commuted in from New Jersey for a year and a half) and always does a fantastic job. I tell Michael what style I want in very general terms because I trust that he will make it look good, and he always exceeds expectations. I’ve never had an issue scheduling an appointment with him (he’s very flexible) and he’s always ready for me when I arrive. He is very friendly and easy to talk to during the cut. Would highly recommend.

When I first moved to the city I struggled to find a good hair guy. Then I discovered Michael about 10 years ago. He’s the best there is and even when he’s busy he takes the time with every client to make sure you get a great cut each time! I definitely recommend

Michael Wang is, hands down, the best men's hair stylist in New York. I've been going to him since late 2010s and have followed him throughout the city, as he's moved to different salon's a few times throughout the last decade. He specializes in short hair and truly understands how each hair style should work with the way you look (e.g., head shape, bone structure, hair thickness, etc.). I get a haircut from him every 3 weeks and have received recommendations from him throughout (i.e., longer haircut for the winter time, shorter haircut for the summer). Michael is the best.
