Too popular! Make sure you are okay to wait for hours 😂 but honestly it’s worth the wait! The hairdressers are amazingly mostly men that looks like Chinatown gangsters 😂 but they definitely know how to make women look great!! 🤩

Recently , my friend and I had noticed that the salon went viral on TikTok for doing services for wigs. Such as basic layering and styling. So , today, my friend and I decided to take a visit there. Before , going, we had called two days before and they explained to us that they you offer styling services for wigs, and we also called today Thursday to reconfirm, and they assured that they do offer styling for wigs . We had arrived to the salon and were told to go to seat number 10. When my friend she sat down, we were told us in 10 seconds that they cannot offer us the service because the person who does cut wigs no longer works there. It’s kind of strange to tell people over the phone that you offered the service then as soon as you come in, they are denied the service. Maybe they did not like the fact that my friends identity of who she was. But it’s truly a disappointing experience. Don’t recommend coming here.

I went in for a hair wash, trim, and wanted to some bangs. Payed 70$ plus tip The hair massage was amazing! You definitely don’t receive that in other salons. The only con of my experience was my bangs, it wasn’t what I wanted, I dont think my stylist understood me but it’s okay.

I got a wash and blowout and it was GREAT. no complaints. the reason i’m giving a two star review is because of the way they were talking about me. i know basic chinese and they were talking bad about me saying that i had no hair. i dont look like i know chinese, so i understand why they felt it was okay, but it was really disrespectful as someone who has thin hair. and then it was 45-55 depending on length and thickness. my hair is shoulder length and in their opinion very thin. they still made me pay 55 which was weird if they felt my hair was thin.

I used to come to Mian Tian Sing fairly regularly a few years back because it was quick, affordable, and consistent. Lately though, it feels like the value just isn’t there anymore. Prices have climbed to around $30 for a men’s haircut, which puts it on par with plenty of salons outside Chinatown—but without the same level of care or experience. My most recent interaction really sealed it for me. I stopped by to ask about wait times before heading over, and the response was dismissive and borderline rude. Instead of a straightforward answer, I was basically told that whether I waited or left didn’t matter to them. I get that walk-ins are the norm and busy days happen, but basic courtesy goes a long way. It’s disappointing because this used to be an easy recommendation. Between the higher prices and the increasingly unfriendly attitude, I’ll probably be looking elsewhere for haircuts going forward.

Prices are not updated on their website - says massage/shampoo/cut is $17-55 but I paid $70. They got me in immediately which was a plus, but he barely even asked me what I wanted before he started cutting. The whole thing felt really chaotic, and my hair is okay but it’s not what I wanted (not that I was really given the opportunity to even explain what that was). I’ve had cheaper and better haircuts at other salons in the area.

Great, efficient salon. Very impressed with the ticketed waiting system. Ended up waiting close to an hour right after opening on a Saturday. Massage was great. Shampoo was good-a bit rushed but I understood what I was paying for! Trim was great. All in $70 with tip and I am very happy. Manage expectations on wait, and if you go on the weekend you’ll be subject to more tourist madness which isn’t a bad thing!
