Over the years, I have tried various places in CT and have not been happy with the stylist I found there for Asian hair. Though it’s a bit of a full-day commitment, including the train rides in and out of the city and nearly 6 hours of sitting, it's worth it! Apart from the price tag, hands down the best hair styling experience ever! Mr. Andrew and his assistants are most courteous and professional. I enjoyed my experiences over the past few years. Her impeccable taste and phenomenal techniques make her my go-to stylist. She’s incredibly chill and easy to talk to, so you’ll feel comfortable and relaxed during your appointment. Have been going here for years, the salon is clean and everyone is always warm and welcoming. The stylists are experts in what they do and I always leave loving my hair cut and style. Highly recommend their conditioning and straightening treatments for beautiful and long lasting results. I get so many compliments on my hair after my visits!

Yonjae is the best barber NYC hands down! Went to several different stylists and nobody gets it right except for her!! She is also always so nice and charming it always makes my week talking to her! Everyone in the shop is always so nice and welcoming. Special shoutout to Laura her assistant who is also muy amable and talented!

I hadn’t cut my hair short in over 10 years, but I recently got a huge knot and my regular stylist couldn’t see me until next month. I remembered this salon from years ago and decided to try my luck. I wish I caught the stylist’s name, because she (and another stylist) tried so patiently to detangle my hair. In the end it was too painful, so I asked if we could just go short and she gave me the most beautiful cut. I have gotten nonstop compliments from coworkers, friends, even strangers. My husband loves it too. Thank you so much for giving me a fresh start and a look that makes me feel confident and beautiful. I really appreciate the care and kindness!

Second time at HairOSH and loved getting my consultation and cut by YJ. She helped me consider my hair as an upcoming bridesmaid, and provided the most thoughtful advice/styling.

The hair stylist YJ was great! So friendly and warm. A great stylist too. Love the hair style she did and she gave me great advice on how to maintain and make my hair healthy and beautiful. Went to her twice to cut my hair. Will be back again for sure !
