Aza, Paul, Hava, and the rest of the crew here are amazing. They always get my hair exactly how I want and I leave feeling so satisfied and glad that I went back. Super clean, efficient, and welcoming space.

This was by far that best haircut and blowout I have ever gotten. I’m very particular about my hair and Olga did a better job than I ever could have imagined. I have long thick hair and she gave me amazing layers and angles. IM OBSESSED

I rarely if ever write bad reviews. This might even be my first one. But the haircut I received here left me in tears when I got home. I asked the hairstylist for two things: a trim (about 3-4 in), some layering and to shape my hair in a u/moon. To trim my hair, he went around me in circles, cutting tiny sections. He never pinned my hair up to layer it (which all my previous hairstylists had done) and to top it all off his hands were shaking throughout. I gave him the benefit of the doubt until he made me stand so he could "give my hair a shape". Shouldn’t even a rookie hairstylist be able to do that while you’re sitting down?? After he was done, I saw that my hair was cut completely blunt with no texture whatsoever. When I expressed my frustration, he (and another stylist Olga I believe) tried to remedy it to no avail. My roommate took a picture of my hair when I got back: there’s hardly any shape, my hair was crooked and there was little to no layering. I’m now writing this in another salon getting it fixed. **2nd salon saw the problem immediately. So it wasn’t like I was seeing things or making mountains out molehills.

I have lived in NYC for three years now and about a year and a half ago I found the best hair salon. Aza Hair Salon has consistently given me the best haircuts I’ve ever had. Every time I walk into the shop, I feel welcomed and comfortable. I have had haircuts from multiple stylists there and have always been pleased. They are accommodating to my particular nature and are patient as I try to explain what it is I’d like my hair to look like. I have always left satisfied. And the one time I wasn’t (only because I was being very particular) I came into the salon and they were happy to give me what I was looking for. Aza has cut my hair multiple times and I am always satisfied. Aza is great for conversation, and also great for silence. He is always aware of how I am doing and what I think and will make suggestions to help me find what I’m looking for. I’ve come in and asked for some drastic changes to my hair. He always double and triple checks before and he always starts by cutting less, to make sure I really am wanting the big change. You can tell everyone who comes in there are repeat, loyal customers, because they know the quality and love the salon puts into their work. I can’t think of anywhere else I’d like to get my haircut. Deeply grateful for how Aza and his team make me feel.

Favorite salon in the world. The high level of customer service . Total confidence just by the way we talked about problems I was having with my style and what I wanted. I had my hair cut with Aza , and Olga made my hair lighter and natural looking. I just appreciate how much attention they put to what clients want. Definitely recommend this salon.

Amazing place. Atmosphere is friendly and they have a good student discount. They even ask if we want tea or coffee. Ive been there few times. Once I did color and twice keratin. The stylist was Olga, she always listens to what I want and she does great haircuts. I really recommend.

Been going to Aza for years. Best barber shop in New York City. They always care to tailor to my every request and accommodate my schedule. Aza and his team so a fantastic job across the board.
