Akeem is truly one of the best hair stylists I’ve ever had and that’s saying a lot after years of getting my hair done across Asia and the U.S. He has an incredible eye for trendy styles and detail, listens deeply, and understands how hair should move, frame the face, and still feel like you. He’s also extremely personable, which makes the entire experience feel easy and comfortable. What sets Akeem apart isn’t just his technical skill, but his intuition and care. Every cut feels thoughtful and tailored. I left feeling confident, refreshed, and more like myself. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely respects your hair and elevates it in a way that feels natural and intentional, Akeem is exceptional. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Akeem is the BEST in the city for real! He is really an artist, did magic to my hair twice now - the best balayage! This is my second time doing balayage with him, even better than the last time! Last time my hair was very vibrant and red for two months, and then the grow out and color fade is also super pretty - slightly different color tone and new hair growing out, I got so much comment like your hair is so cool i like month 4 of my first dye. It last 7 months till it went back to the bleached color. Amazing. Akeem is also super nice and respectful, funny and chill too 😉 His place is in alchemy studio, a super zen environment, makes me feel calm and relaxed, not your usual hair salon! He is also great at hair cut, my hair looks super natural and layered even months after the cut. I couldn’t recommend him enough! I know I’ll be going to him all the time.
