This place is so good, thanks to our haircutter, Kelly, who is the best! Every year I go back to her to get my haircut. Her attention to detail is so precise and she never fails to make my hair look great. Even when I got my hair highlighted she chose the color for me. But of course, all the other staff are amazing too!

I came in to get my ends cut and a blowout and I trust this place so much, which is why I come often. However, this was not the case today. I told the hairdresser I needed to just cut my ends because they were dry and then she kept on saying "you hair is so dry..so thin" and I was like okay, yeah it is. Then, when she finished the cut, I asked if she could blowdry since I always get it done there, and she said "No, I can't your hair is too thin." I usually get my blow outs done by myself so I don't understand why she couldn't just comply with what I requested. It was very frustrating because i love this place but I felt like the results did not satisfy me at all.

I honestly wanted to cry after this appointment. I thought I came to a quality hair salon so I was fine paying more for the haircut part in this area. The Haircut: Jimmy appeared pleasant, though there was a language barrier (the staff helped translate). Unfortunately, he simply did not know how to handle thick HAIR and TURN mine INTO A "BROOM" with dry ends, frizziness all over my hair after blow out. As a stylist, he should recognize what works for different hair types and admit when a mistake is made. Instead, the staff all acted like it was fine, which was very frustrating. Hydrating Treatment: Another guy handled the hydrating treatment with the steam machine. I usually do hot oil to keep my hair smooth, but it didn't work at all here. It felt like they were being cheap with the Japanese product. At every other salon I’ve visited, the outcome for this treatment has been consistent, but not here, even after they had me do the process twice for 25 minutes each time. The Atmosphere & Service: • Vibe: The salon is very serious and busy. The only people who really talk are the hair wash staff chit-chatting with each other for a bit. They have dividers for privacy, and they wrap your clothes in a clear bag and put it right in front of you. • Tipping: They try to break down the tip the way they want you to, but you can request it to be differently. • The Price: The total was $100, which is reasonable since the haircut alone is usually over $50 on their menu. • The "Plus": The only silver lining is that my hair is much lighter now; I can wash it more thoroughly and my ponytail isn't as heavy. I didn't get a lot of flyaways on the top. I didn't feel rushed during the process and there was no wait time. I really wanted to like this place, but I DO NOT RECOMMEND JIMMY for THICK HAIR or this salon for hydrating treatments. I might consider coming back in the future, but only with a stylist I actually know and trust. ADVICE: if you are trying out a new stylist, then don't go too short as it may be a disaster and you may be able to somewhat save your hair with a different stylist.

this is my second visit here, I was a walk in around 12pm on a Friday and it wasn’t too busy at all compared to the last time I visited. My hairdresser was Cho (apologies if misspelled) and she was very attentive to my requests, gentle with my hair and kind. The full service was done in a timely and professional manner. I showed her 3 inspo pictures I had in mind and she did a decent job in achieving a mix of the hairstyles I showed her. My only wish is that I would’ve liked it a lot better if it came out more alternative looking like the photos attached. But I appreciate that she did an amazing job at keeping the length of my hair and the thickness, which is more important to me. The lady who washed my hair also did an incredible job at getting deep in my scalp and it was very relaxing. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a casual haircut for an affordable price. I paid $52 base.

I loved the service there. I did shampoo, blow and hair cut. The blow dry that they did was amazing. I loved the result. Sam cut and blow my hair and I 100% recommend him. It cost me $48 + tip. For the amount of hair I have it was good. This is my before and after, my hair urgently needed a hair cut and this place gave me what I ask.

I have long, thick hair and wanted an inclusive hair cut (wash, cut, dry) so this place was great price and service wise. My stylist was Elaine - I showed her a picture and told her I want layers. She was amazing and did not cut my hair too short (as I wanted to maintain the length). I was super satisfied with the cut. I was able to walk in and like the others said I would recommend taking cash. The ATM next to the salon is a kinda random one and I think it has way higher charges than simply getting cash from a proper bank ATM or maybe even just using your card inside the salon (which was an option as well).

I loved it! I needed a haircut and I found about this place through reddit. I walked in without reservation and they took care of me quickly. The wash was nice and then they cut my hair according to my preferences with continuous feedback. Lastly, they styled it, all for a super nice price. I recommend it a lot.
