Hair House in New Rochelle is truly a standout salon. Dana and her team combine professionalism and expertise with a genuine personal touch that makes every visit a great experience. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed and listened to, and the staff always takes the time to understand exactly what you want. Went to Dana for a classic voluminous blowout (2nd and 3rd pics) and what I got is pic 1. All pictures are me, for reference. She tried blaming it on my hair, but it wasn’t my hair, it was the fact that she was 20 minutes late for me and in a rush. I have a blowout membership at a different spot where I get blowouts once a week that always always always come out like pics number 2 and 3. Never in my life have I seen my hair look so disastrous. I paid the extra fee for the owner assuming she’d be the master at this style. Then tipped her on TOP of her sweet employee that rough dried my hair because she Noticed how late Dana was and didn’t want to keep me waiting in the chair with sopping wet hair any longer. She mistakenly dried my hair to the point where it was almost completely dry, so by the time Dana got to it, it couldn’t be properly styled. So disappointing.

I recently visited New York for a couple of days for an event and needed someone to style my hair. I was very impressed with the service I received. The staff was incredibly kind, accommodating, and professional, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. I found Hair House on Google when I was in desperate need of a new haircut, and I’m so glad I did! The location is super convenient, just a short walk for me. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed—the salon is beautiful, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. J’leene greeted me right away, made me feel comfortable, and offered me a drink after walking me to the chair. Soon after, Nellee came over to introduce herself, and let me tell you—she is AMAZING. Not only did she completely bring my hair back to life, but she also shared valuable tips on how to maintain it and truly educated me on my hair type. Her knowledge and expertise were evident throughout the entire process. She completely transformed my look, and I was so grateful that I had to give her a hug! She framed my face beautifully, and I honestly can’t thank her enough. I’m absolutely coming back to Hair House for Nellee! If you’re thinking about booking an appointment, do it! Hair House has an incredible team, and you deserve to treat yourself. Highly recommend!!!

I love this place, the owner Dana along with the rest of her well skilled team are amazing at what they do. I know every time I go I can just show a picture of what I want and they will make it happen. Dana is well skilled in her craft knows all the new hairstyles and techniques. They are all professional and create a warm and inviting salon. The salon is new and quite beautiful, they use only Oribe products which are so amazing and I just feel so beautiful every time I walk out. Don’t be fooled by the prices quality is what your paying for. You could get a cheap $40 hair cut however a) you won’t get a relaxed setting b) the products will not be high quality c) your hair will not have up to date styles and colors. So don’t hesitaste to pamper yourself with a high quality hair cut! They are amazing! 😊
