Habib's Atmosphere Is Hair

Denise cut my hair without permission. The first two pictures are supposed to be finger waves which came out with-in a day. I've been a loyal customer for 33 years, and she gave me a refund and told me to get out of her salon. The second pictures came out with-in 48 hours. Her reaputation is poor throughout the Bronx. She refused to fix my hair!

I have been coming to Habibs ever since I was a little girl! That speaks to the longevity and consistency of this salon. I travel from a different state just to get my hair done. Denise is the ONLY beautician that I allow to cut, color, and do unique twist styles to my hair because not only does my hair always come out AMAZING, but my hair remains healthy. Denise ensures that she attends to the needs of my hair for each style, while still making sure the style comes out fantastic! I 100% recommend anyone to come and get their hair done ASAP! You will not regret it!

I will never return back to this location. They burned my hair and not only ruined my hair but also one of the most important days of my life.

I have never ever been disappointed with the service I received at Habib's. My hair styles are always fabulous. The amount of compliments that are received are awesome. Even when it's time to go back, I am being asked why. The styles still look fresh. I also love the " atmosphere ". It's relaxing, nice music, great people, good laughs and Denise and her crew make you feel special. I send everyone to her and they leave with the same sentiments. 15 years and still counting.

Denise is a very talented hair stylist beautician, her salon is a peaceful atmosphere. Her and the team are very accommodating. I am so happy with the cut that I received today and the care she takes with my hair. I will definitely see her again. Many Blessings to your business!

I had to use wisdom to give Sarah a review shes the lady with the hair studio in the back of the salon. She deep conditioned my hair with shampoo, you know how I know I didn't smell conditioner and my hair was soooo matted when I came from under the dryer. Here it is I trusted a black women to do my hair and this is the thanks I get for supporting a black business owner. I have never in all the years of getting my hair done experienced this not even when I do my own hair. Sarah, you saw that I was a nice person with nice hair and you tried to ruin my hair, I will never allow you to do my hair ever again. I wouldn't allow you to shampoo a dog after what you did to me, if I could I would give you no stars. I feel google need to allow us to really voice our opinion when it come to rating people services. Instead of a star we should be able to give a poop emoji stop limiting us.

I didn’t want to give this one star because I like Denise and have been coming to this salon since I was a child but I really was disappointed with my last experience with a new stylist Sarah I booked an appointment online for the first time for flat twists with no added hair which was $85 but ended up being charged $160!!! I came into the salon with 6 large loose twists from sectioning my hair previously after washing my hair the previous week and was charged a $45 take down fee even though it took less 3 minutes and I helped her! In all my years going to Habib wash and blow dry have always been included in the style but I was charged separately for that as well. When i looked online again there was no option to separately book a wash or have it as an add on and there was no mention of any take down fee. My hair came out fine but $160 was way too much to spend on 8 flat twists with no added hair and she left my ends very janky. I expect my hair to feel somewhat tight just after styling but after a few days my scalp was still in pain and I discovered that my parts were not straight in the back causing hair from other sections to be pulled into the wrong twist and caused extreme tension from the angle. My hair bulbs started popping out and I started to scab on my scalp. After over paying for the style I had to take the twists out after less than a week. So disappointed.
