Got some layers on my curly hair with Corinne and loved the whole experience! She has a very genuine energy and loved how smoothly the conversation went, plus my hair feels so soft now! Honestly, it almost felt therapeutic! Glad I found this place.

Been seeing Corinne for my hair cuts for years now and it’s been the most consistent experience I’ve ever had with my hair. The downtown spot is super cool, always good music and energy…. the other stylists are always friendly and their clients always seem happy, Won’t go anywhere else and always love the finished product.

It was a pleasure and privilege having Brandi Jo cut my hair. Went to trim several inches off my damaged and neglected long thick Asian hair. Made easy work of it in a calm sleek salon nestled in one of DTLA’s historic buildings.

Really happy with my men’s curly cut from Angel. I had a small nitpick and they let me come in the next day to accommodate. Fairly priced as well!

Spent $400 on half highlights and specifically asked for no gold/brassiness, showing photos of my usual creamy blonde. The owner (Corinne) insisted a little gold was fine and that most clients "freak out" unnecessarily at the mention of gold — then proceeded to give me exactly that. I left with a harsh yellow-gold blonde I’ve never had in my life. I returned a week later for a toner, which only slightly improved the color and faded back to yellow within three weeks. I was told it was due to prior stylist damage (though I’ve never had an issue with the stylist I’ve had for 5+ years), mineral build-up, or "California water." If that were true, I would have walked in with yellow hair — which I absolutely did not. Multiple other stylists told me the work was so poor that I should request a full refund. After days of back-and-forth, I requested a partial — since I had to pay another stylist $200 to fix it. Instead, they offered a third visit at my expense and refused even a partial refund. The stylist even sent me photos of my hair after the dye job, claiming the orange/gold tone was due to my "natural hair changing color" — something no other stylist has ever suggested, and which she mentioned only after I requested a refund. Also — why was it orange / gold if the foils had been done properly? No blonde job should be that color if done correctly. It was pretty clear she gave me gold and was unable to fix it by toner alone (which would have been impossible to do) but rather than admitting she messed up, she blamed my hair quality and came up with every creative excuse under the sun to avoid accountability. Whether just super transactional or financially desperate, the gaslighting and minimization to avoid refunding a blatantly bad $400 job is unacceptable. The new stylist corrected it easily with fresh foils, proving the issue was poor technique, not my hair. I’m now out $600+ for what should have been basic blonde highlights — poor work, bad excuses, and zero accountability. Super embarrassing that not only are they ok with this level of poor workmanship but that they are ok with openly scamming clients like this. Worst salon experience ever.

I have been following Megan as my stylist for over a year now. Her skills, attention to detail and conversations are what has made me a loyal client of hers. She's seen me from a high fade to a mullet with extensions and every service she has knocked it out of the park. She will not stop until she is happy with her own work, and the quality shows. Megan is an all-in-one stop for both men and woman, I couldn't recommend seeing this gorgeous being more.

I got my haircut by Brandi Jo!! This was my first time here and I feel like I'm super particular about how I like my haircuts. I've been to many places in LA for haircuts and I feel like the person cutting my hair never listens to what I want, or even after I show them a photo, they end up cutting my hair super short where I can't even do a thing to it. Brandi was super nice, professional and very friendly and she knew exactly what I wanted! I haven't been this happy with a haircut for a few years now lol. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
