I highly recommend coming to Nelson if you’re looking to get a cut and perm. It was my first time getting a perm so I was very nervous, but because Nelson is experienced, kind, and easy to talk to, I felt very reassured. The perm turned out natural looking and the overall shape of my hair is very cute. Will definitely be coming back again in a couple months!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Easily one of the best haircuts I’ve gotten! Nelson was so detailed and attentive. He kept checking in on me to make sure that I was happy with the length etc. I got a trim with long layers and face framing pieces. I have always had really thick hair and it feels so much lighter now. It turned out exactly like the picture I showed him. The cut and styling was $100.

I just love my new wolf cut! Nelson was so attentive from the moment I sat down to wash my hair, making me feel pampered all along. I showed him a picture for inspiration, and he perfectly captured the look I wanted. The salon’s Aveda products are such a lovely touch, and the music created an amazing atmosphere that made the whole experience even better. Booking an appointment is definitely worth it, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. I highly recommend this wonderful spot!

Nelson is so nice! I got a haircut by him and I loved how it turned out. My hair looks so fresh now. He washed my hair also and even got a little head massage. He paid close attention to details while cutting my hair, which I really appreciated. The space is super cozy and he was playing jazz. Made it a calm environment - it was perfect. A good haircut matters! That’s why I’m so particular when choosing a stylist. I moved so I had to look for a new stylist which was devastating. But after meeting Nelson, and being bestowed with this wonderful haircut, I have zero regrets. The whole appointment was honestly a great experience. The space was gorgeous and calm. Nelson is the sweetest and immediately made me feel welcome. He gave me exactly what I asked for and offered some styling tips and advice. But he always made it clear that he would do whatever I asked. It is so rare to find a stylist that actually cares about your hair while balancing client satisfaction. As someone who comes from a family of hairdressers, stylists work insane hours on their feet multiple times, if not every day, of the week. It’s a hard business but he never once gave me the impression I was a burden or that I needed to be rushed out of the appointment. I’m sure if you’re looking at this review, you’ve experienced that rushed or invisible feeling at least once so you know what I’m saying and how important it is to feel seen and heard at a hair appointment. I felt very cared for as a client and I look great. Needless to say, I will be a regular customer at Nelson’s.
