I truly can’t say enough about how thrilled I’ve been with Salon Gloss, owned by Kara. From the moment you walk in, the salon has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere her entire team is kind, professional, and clearly held to a high standard. Kara makes sure her stylists are continuously educated and trained, which shows in the confidence and quality of their work. When I first came to the salon a few years ago, I had completely virgin, very dark brown hair and wanted to go blonde. I was fully expecting some damage in the process, but to my surprise, Kara achieved the look without damaging my hair at all. It was incredible. And let’s talk about the blowouts these girls know what they’re doing! My hair is long, thick, and naturally curly, and somehow their blowouts last me an entire week. It’s truly impressive. Salon Gloss has been amazing from day one, and I recommend it to anyone looking for top-notch service and results.

I've been going to Kara, and now Hannah for years. I love the atmosphere as soon as you walk in you're offered a snack and drink and go over your expectations for the visit. Hannah is very thorough in explaining and addressing any concerns I may have with my hair. She is also one of the only stylists I've come across in central AR that knows how to cut and style my curly, thick hair.

I visited this salon months ago, and as I look back, this remains the worst salon experience I have ever had. I feel a responsibility to warn others, because there are far better, more professional, and more affordable options available. I paid nearly $400 for a haircut and color, yet the results were extremely disappointing. The color faded almost immediately, the haircut alone was over $50 with poor results, and I genuinely felt less confident leaving the salon than when I arrived. The most serious issue happened afterward. The stylist did not rinse the dye from my scalp properly, and by the next day my head was severely itching. When I scratched my scalp, dried dye came off in flakes. What I assumed would be minor turned into a fungal scalp infection. It smelled unpleasant, caused constant discomfort, and required multiple medications and treatments to get under control. This infection lasted for months, and it significantly affected my daily life and mental wellbeing. It also caused my pillows to smell, forcing me to replace them more than once. I spent even more money on treatments, products, and cleanup, all because of the improper service I received here. I have never experienced anything like this in any other salon. The styling itself was poorly executed, and the environment was unprofessional. Some staff members openly spoke negatively about other women, which did not create a supportive or welcoming atmosphere. For context, I’ve had better results for around $100 at a salon inside Walmart. Even salons in major hotels, such as the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, have provided higher quality service at a lower cost. Overall, this was the most expensive and most damaging salon experience I have ever had, both physically and emotionally. I strongly encourage others to consider other salons to avoid what I went through here.

I love coming to see my stylist Klarissa! She always makes me feel beautiful after leaving her salon. I’ve been going to her for almost 2 years and will continue to! I would recommend her to anyone, especially clients interested in blonding services. The salon overall has a great atmosphere and all of the stylists are always so nice to me.

I had vivid colors and a cut with Jen. She greeted me at the door before taking me to my chair. I love that she took her time to understand exactly what I wanted. While I knew exactly what I wanted, it's not alway easy to communicate that to a new stylist. She paid very close attention to details and made sure we were on the same page throughout the whole process. I also had the privilege of meeting Katelyn another associate. She was also very friendly and assisted a little during the process as she was learning. I loved that she was wiping down the front display area. Taking time to remove each product and wipe them down individually. The salon was very clean which I appreciated. It has been a few weeks since I had my hair done and I am happy to say, the color is still holding on! 🙂 Granted I know that colors hold on differently to different types of hair, so not all results are the same. I love my color and cut and I will definitely return for a touch up when my hair fades.

Angel was wonderful! She did an amazing job with my wash and cut, and I left very happy with the service. Highly recommend!

I’m obsessed with my hair after seeing Hannah at Salon Gloss! I moved to the area about a year ago and have been trying to find the perfect stylist for my hair and I have now found that in Hannah! I wanted a new cut with lots of layers and curtain bangs and she nailed it. Exactly what I wanted, and it was literally the best head massage while shampooing that I’ve ever had at a salon. She understood what I wanted and even made really great suggestions for my hair type. She really knows what she’s doing and very talented! Can’t wait to keep coming back to Hannah at Salon Gloss!
