WOW! I am blown away. I had my hair washed, cut, and styled by Keila! She gave me exactly what I wanted: thick bangs, face framing multiple layers, no blunt ends.. she even gently suggested I trim more than I was willing to part with, but did so with tact, and I trusted her, because it had been more than a year since my last haircut and I really needed it to look and feel healthy! To show how masterful Keila is at her craft, here is a pic of what I wanted and the final result! Thank you for accommodating me last minute. I have been looking for a trustworthy hairstylist for 11 years, since I left my hometown, and I’ve FINALLY found my girl! Appropriately priced for the area, too. Worth every penny. Thank you for making me feel beautiful and for getting me wedding ready for tomorrow!!!

Mere is amazing!! I’ve been coming here for the past 5 years for partial balayage highlights and haircuts, and Mere nails the color and cut every single time. She is so professional and really listens to what you want; I trust her 100%. The owner, Lori, is warm and welcoming, and the whole staff really goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and relaxed while you’re there. Highly recommend this neighborhood gem!!

I came in for a color service and during the consultation, I was told the total would be $275 including a blowout. After the service, I was informed that the blowout would actually be an additional $55, which was never communicated upfront. This was disappointing and felt misleading, as I had budgeted based on the initial quote. The color itself was fine, but the lack of transparency about pricing left me very dissatisfied. Please make sure to confirm all details in writing before booking.

After conducting an extensive search for a blonde specialist, I found Keila at Salon X. She is thorough, meticulous with her work, and super talented. She is a quiet worker, which I appreciate. The first few visits were great, I left happy each time. However, I noticed the integrity of my hair was getting more and more compromised as the months went on, and I believe it’s due to the straight bleaching without any treatment afterwards or incorporating bond repair products to add strength to the hair. Other salons I visited had bond repair products and bond repair bleach. Also, my haircut was a butchering session and about 4-5 inches was chopped off despite me saying I wanted the ends trimmed and no blunt cut. I deducted one star for this reason

I went to Salon X to try the Keratin Treatment for my thick curly and damaged hair. I have been doing Japanese straightening in the city for years and felt it was time for a healthier option for my hair. Paul did an amazing job and my hair has never felt more healthy or easier to style. He also gave me a wonderful haircut . The environment is clean, beautiful and relaxing and the service was perfect. I highly recommend this salon and love the keratin treatment I got! A wonderful neighborhood salon!
