Kine Touba Hair Braiding

I had a great time with this beautiful soul, she did my hair great and doesn’t feel tight and painful. I totally recommend, i love my hair! i’m so happy i found the right spot for my braids in Jersey city it was my first time doing my hair and she didn’t dissapoint, will definitely come back😊

What a wonderful experience I had with Kine! My hair was cut really short and I didn't know if it would be long enough for the boho braids I wanted. But Kine was so kind and was able to grip even my SHORTEST hair in order to give me the full look I was going for! 🙌🏾 She even discounted my price since it was my first time seeing her! 🥰 This was the MOST comfortable I have felt with getting my hair braided in a long time. She really wanted ME to have a great experience with her and I definitely did! 🙏🏾

They pulled out my edges and then became defensive when i confronted them, blaming my "tender head" instead of taking responsibility. She repeatedly kept saying "we did nothing wrong" and was gaslighting me even though i showed them pictures of traction alopecia they caused me (i also uploaded them here for you guys to see for yourself). I had to remove the $150 cornrows after just one week because they were so painfully tight. My scalp was extremely sore to the touch the next day after getting them done, and the braids literally pulled out hairs with white bulbs attached, that’s real hair loss and hairline damage. They refused to offer even a partial refund. Also my hair is way shorter now it was around my hips now its little below my waist. Im thinking that they cut my hair without my awareness. Its either that or they damaged it and it lost its length. I had hip length 4c hair. I’m genuinely disappointed. If you care about your hair or your edges, do not come here. Their cornrows were so tight that they caused actual damage. IM NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!!! If you’re tender-headed, I especially would not recommend getting cornrows here. The pain was intense and lasted days. On top of that, this place is expensive for the quality of work and care you receive. What makes this even more frustrating is that I previously got mini twist box braids here, and they were fine, not nearly as painful and they lasted about three months. That’s why I trusted them enough to come back for cornrows. Prices: Mini Twists — $180 Cornrows — $150 Unfortunately, the cornrows were a completely different (and damaging) experience.

Her skill and expertise were evident as she expertly braided my hair with precision and care. I was impressed by how quickly she worked without sacrificing quality. The hair turned out beautifully, exactly how I envisioned it and even better! I will be returning!

We are on day 7 of Kine’s braids and she has taken care of me like no other. I’ve mixed 3-4 different shades into this color and transformed my style. Price range is fairly good for this style! Update: These braids were gorgeous but removing them was A MESS. I never had such a problem with taking off my braids. Whichever product they initially used to do my braids was like glue. I will no longer visit Kine Touba.

I had a full sew in weave done and it came out amazing. Very meticulous and very knowledgeable! Would definitely recommend
