I wanted to try a new hairstyle and booked for stitch cornrows along with having my hair straightened. I'm a natural and I didn't want a relaxer so I opted for some kind of way to have my hair straightened (I basically wanted the style to look fresh and neat). When I arrived at my appointment, no smile. She was confused with what I asked for (I didn't understand the confusion). She said that the hair would be too soft to work with. Wait, what!?!?! In all my years of having my hair done by professionals, I have never heard of an excuse like that ever. If it was a client with bone straight hair such as Caucasian or Asian, would the client be rejected of service? Anyway I trusted her to go with what she thought was best. After a wash and condition, she blow dried to stretch my hair, then did regular cornrows in a circular pattern (I did mention to her that I wear wigs occasionally). During the braiding process, she kept getting up out of her chair to check for something outside. What is the constant holdup???? Had no consideration for people's time. When the service was done, I paid and left. Never again.

I have been a client for several years. What keeps me coming back to Diamond is that she is respectful of my time. She goes above and beyond to accommodate my tight schedule and with that gets me in and out with quality service. Despite going through the ordeal of unexpectedly losing her daughter, earlier this year, she still maintained a pleasant demeanor and was focused on providing quality haircare. The salon was very clean and I had the best experience. Diamond was extremely educated on my hair care issues and needs. She made me a custom lace wig from sratch and made my sister a braided wig.....yes a braided wig!!!... all done by her. Shes awesome. Thanks

Dissatisfied with results of a lace closure sew in. The glue is showing on my scalp, the weave was not sewn tight at all so it is bumpy and the lace came up the next day. I asked for it to be flat ironed but the hair was frizzy and not straight when I left salon. Very overpriced at $150 for poor work.

Real down to earth place to be...The owner really takes her time with your hair and makes sure you leave with happy healthy hair!! Give her a try and you won't regret it 😍
