I've been coming to Marsha for the last four years. She's done everything from cutting my hair to dying it and doing highlights. She's simply the best.

Got my hair cut, colored, and blow dried. It came out to $65 before tip which I think is a reasonable price. The color came out darker than I had hoped but that’s my hair’s fault I suppose, and the cut is just what I had asked for. Only issue was that it was freezing inside, so if you’re planning to go on a day when it’s cold out I’d recommend wearing a sweater and some warm socks.

Marsha is a master stylist. Very helpful, encouraging and confident. She knows what's she's doing. I am biracial and have a lot of VERY curly frizzy hair. She had me in and out in 2 hours with a color and blow out. She's also the only person I trust to cut my hair. She is excellent, she tells the truth about what I need and always does exactly what I ask for.

Simply the Best!! Marsha has been our stylist for over 23 years. Doesn’t matter where we have moved throughout the years, we always make it back to Jersey City to have Marsha cut, style, color and Keratin our hair. My daughters and I have healthy and shiny hair, and that’s all due to Marsha’s guidance and professionalism. Also, very important that I mention that one of my daughters has Down syndrome and Autism, and she allows Marsha to cut and style her hair and has been doing it since she was 4 years old. She is now 27. Marsha truly cares about her clients and you will experience it from the moment you walk into her salon.

It was not a good experience here. I asked if they were proficient with doing short haircuts, and they said they were. But when the cut was done, it was clear they weren't. It wasn't shaped well and looking it over closely at home, it was uneven in a lot of places. I didn't like it and was not satisfied with it, but thankfully, hair grows back quickly. The place itself is clean and very nicely kept, but the two employees that were there made the experience feel very cold and unwelcoming. I was spoken to very little, and it made it feel as though me being there was an inconvenience rather than a client. Please be honest with what your expertise is in. Misleading the client only ruins your own credibility. And ignoring them throughout the entire appointment doesn't create a warm, welcoming environment. Just makes people feel awkward and uncomfortable. I haven't been back, and I won't ever return.

I always enjoy my experience at Beauty Within and leave feeling like I got the best hair cut. Marsha is a consummate professional who always works to ensure the highest quality and service. When I observe other people leaving Marsha’s chair at the end of their haircuts, they are usually beaming with pride and confidence as Marsha’s abilities always help create the best look for a person. My fiancé (who is relatively new to Jersey City) asked me where I got my hair cut so I obviously recommended Marsha. She was thrilled with the style and service. Simply put, if you want high end, luxurious style and five star treatment, go to Beauty Within.

Best place to get a beautiful hair cut. Staff is very supportive and even suggest you about suitable hair styles. I was there on experimental visit. I wanted to change my look of long flowing hair to something more trendy. So I decided to go with long Pixies. Marsha, my stylist gave me a beautiful look and I will be grateful to her. Loved the way she did her task with finishing and speed. Even they shared my before after pictures on my request. I am very happy with their service and definitely recommend it if you don't want to spend a huge amount on haircut and yet want a perfect look for your day.
