My first time at SoHo, and I requested Maru, he was amazing! He gave me a haircut and highlights, and his creativity really stood out. I truly loved his work. I heard he’s no longer with SoHo, which makes me a bit sad.

Maru is amazing! I cut off all my hair last year so it was nerve racking. He made my new hair cut look amazing and I trust him fully! I search everywhere to find adichi hair coloring and I can't find it anywhere but here. I absolutely love this salon.

I got a hair cut and quick head spa. The stylist Maru he did really good job and nice. I wouldn’t recommend quick head spa tho. It’s hard to find difference from regular shampoo.

This hair salon really disappointed me. First, my boyfriend and I went in and the front lady never made an eye contact and never greeted so we greeted first but still, the front lady never made an eye contact and she was very unfriendly and made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. My boyfriend was the one had an appointment there so I ask them if I can wait him inside because there were seats. But the lady told me to wait outside with very bad attitude. After finish, they usually have to ask if the customer wants the hair to be set or curl it. They were rushing because the next customer was there already so they never asked him if his hair wants to be set or not. Very bad customer service. Very disappointed.

Me and my son went this hair salon hoping to get some good haircut. They did great and haircut was as great as expected. Their head massage when they did shampoo was amazing! I gave them 4 stars only because they can’t understand English well so I have to translate what my son want. Otherwise they are perfect!

Went for a head spa treatment here. Akina did a great job and made sure she checked-in and explained what she was doing. Cannot say the same about the reception/management though. Make sure you book in advance and ask clear questions regarding treatment/service details. Even though I did, I was misinformed. They paid heed when I expressed concern, but I wish I could’ve just enjoyed the experience and given them 5 stars.

Worst haircut I’ve ever gotten!!! The guy never used a guideline, he just started cutting randomly, which left the left side longer than the right. I showed him a photo of what I wanted, & told him I wanted the front bangs long...I even showed him how much I wanted cut off-conversely ...how long to leave behind. The bangs was an inch shorter than requested! And I left with a haircut in no way resembling the photo! I paid an extra $10 for a "spa" treatment which was a minute and a half massage on the scalp, & a minute on the shoulders. What a waste of money ! That $35 haircut was hardly worth it. I could have gotten a BETTER haircut at the Hawaii Hairstyling school on Nuuanu for $7. He ruined my newly permed hair...when he as done, so was the perm....no more waves! He needs to go back to school...or quit the business. They got nerve letting someone with no skills or talent loose in their shop!
