I had an incredible experience at Namie Salon with Ana! She gave me stunning highlights and a perfect haircut that left my hair looking vibrant and healthy. Ana is incredibly sweet, an excellent communicator, and made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire process—she truly knows how to make you feel beautiful. I can’t recommend her enough; I’ll definitely be back!

I have been seeing Mie for almost 25 years, and while I have tried dozens of other stylists during that time, no one else comes close to her level of quality and precision. From up-do's in my teens to perms, highlights, or cuts throughout my many eras, she is THE best. This is a female owned and operated small business in Kaimuki town, which should be reason enough to support this salon, but in case you needed another -- She has such a thorough attention to detail and her decades of experience means she has seen and done it all a million times before, making her an expert on important factors like color theory, hair type, and face-framing, while also having the ability to work quickly and efficiently, keeping your bill as low as possible to minimize time in the chair. I have been off-island now for 17 years, and Mie is still my go-to stylist and the only person I trust to give me a new look or big refresh.

My review is long overdue considering I moved off island and no longer able to see Sharon but let me tell you!!! To this day, she’s the only stylist I can trust to lift my dark brown hair and get me to a gorgeous blonde color. She kept the integrity of my hair and I was never brassy. Sharon is a master at her trade and I highly recommend her for anyone looking to go lighter:)

Been with Mie since her days in Kahala. For a while now I’ve noticed a change in her customer service and have been hanging in there for some change and improvement. She hadn’t been consistent with her cuts and color and finally realized it was time to move on.

Namie Salon is a new salon in Kaimuki, however, the stylists there are anything but new to the business. They are all very talented! I've been going to Mie for 15 years and have always gotten the best styles and always get compliments from random people. Several yrs ago we moved out of state and have lived in Toronto and Tx and have not found anyone as talented as her, and I've been to some of the biggest named salons. Before Mie starts her magic, she confirms what she's interpreted I want. I never leave feeling like I got something I didn't go in for. Her styling is always so good because she has amazing creativity and technique. Never really thought there could be a difference but I've had my share of average styles from other stylists. A haircut is not a haircut, trust me! Not only is Mie beyond talented, she is so sweet and friendly. Every summer we return home and I always stop in for an updated look. We were lucky this summer to find her at her very own salon...it's beautiful!

Mie is amazing. I found her by admiring a haircut while standing in line at the supermarket. The lady said "Mie" at Namie on Waianae Ave. She told me it was "her bad hair day!"... if that is a bad hair day, I needed to find her stylist...NOW MY BAD HAIR DAYS ARE IN THE PAST..MIE IS GREAT!🌟

Mie is the best! She is just a creative genius when it com to hair! I only get me hair done by her!
