Emily is extremely professional, kind, and knowledgeable in her field. She cut my hair for the first time in 7 months and she gave me tips about how to improve the overall appearance of my hair. She somehow just knew what exact cut and style would match my face and make me look the best. I highly recommend booking with Emily because she specializes in cuts, especially men’s haircuts! Emily is amazing, I go to her for my cut and color. She keeps my blond bright and banishes the brass. She also keeps my hair healthy despite the processing and suggests the perfect products to maintain it until I go back. If you go to her be ready to never want to go to any other barber/hairdresser ever again, you’ll be hooked trust me. She can truly do it all. She even does my boyfriend’s hair!

Emily!! So happy for this girl for opening her own shiny new shop. I don't trust many people with my hair but Emily has seen me through some difficult (for me) hair lengths in the past few years, and always makes me feel awesome. She is personable, sweet, a true artist, and genuinely cares about collaborating with you to make sure you leave happy. I bring my boyfriend here for lazer detailed beard trimming.. obviously she is a talented barber, and also a fantastic stylist for the girls and boys alike. Anyone is in great hands with Emily!

You will have a extremely hard time finding a barbershop with this level of quality and attention to detail. I have been going to Emily for a few years and will continue to do so because of the consistent amazing service I have always received. Game Changers Studio is significantly great enough for my to write my first Google review. The staff is friendly, clean, and professional. The shop is super clean, comfortable, and modern. Finding barbers of this caliber who will go out of their way to give you what you want, not a prepackaged cut is a real treat. Since my buddy told me about Magellan I have been a loyal customer. He consistently keeps me coming back from the west side for the best cuts and company on the island. Friendly, but not overbearing and fake like some.

New shop, new vibes, awesome barbers. I've been going to Emily for about 4-5 years and when she finally told me about her own shop, I was totally onboard. Once you step into the shop, its well lit and vibrant. You get to see the new (and nice) chairs, product for sale on the right side, and they even have a massage chair. Emily always provides great customer service, funny conversations, and a relaxing kinda vibe. One of the convenient things is that the sink is right in front of the chair, so all you have to do is spin around and you'll get a wash. It brings back the old school vibes in a new school type of way. You'll be able to find the shop along North King Street (right next to Hawaii National Bank). You’ll see the spinning barber pole. There is also available parking at Marin Tower or metered street parking. It's free after 6pm and shop is open till 7. I have to give props to Emily for finally opening her own shop. Congratulations!
