Sul the Studio

I was looking for a new salon and am so glad I found Sul the Studio. Sam is an AMAZING stylist! She absolutely got my vision and matched me with the perfect cut and color. I wanted lived-in blonde, long layers that blended well with both my natural color and my existing highlights and she absolutely delivered. Sam takes time to really listen to her clients and it’s clear she really knows what she is doing. Her assistant Emma is equally fantastic – very knowledgeable, talented, and highly professional – and makes you feel like you’re in good hands. Together, they make an excellent team. Also shout out to salon management for linking each stylist’s social media page to their bio on the salon website. Being able to swipe through different stylists’ cut and color photos helped me find the stylist perfect for me, influencing my decision to choose Sul the Studio for my hair needs. 1000/10 highly recommend!

This was my first time going to this salon. The environment was professional, while still being very warm and inviting. Everyone was very nice. Sam did an amazing at helping fix a hair cut/ bang situation that I had gotten done at a different salon that I was displeased with. She listened and asked questions before cutting my hair to make sure I was comfortable each step of the way. Sam made me feel heard and I will definitely be returning to Sul!

Avery is amazing at what she does. Her blonding work is perfect—bright, natural, and blended every time. She’s also great at cutting hair and takes the time to make sure the shape and length are exactly what you want. Avery really listens and checks in throughout the appointment to be sure you’re loving everything, which makes such a difference. I always leave feeling confident and obsessed with my hair. If you’re looking for someone you can trust completely with blonding and cuts, Avery is the one!

Had the absolute best experience at Sul today. Everyone I met was so kind and helpful, and Olivia especially made a huge difference! One of my extension rows went rogue, and even though I’m not her client, she stepped in right away and was so sweet while helping me out. I genuinely appreciated her taking the time—such a great experience!!

I came here on a whim to see Lizzy after I was in dire need of a tone/color correction. She listened thoroughly, offered great suggestions that were realistic, and helped me regain some confidence. Not only is she a great hair stylist, but I can tell she really enjoys what she does and has a lot of knowledge about it. ❤️ I will definitely be recommending Sul the Studio, thank you again Lizzy!

I went in to get my hair colored pink with a stylist I’ve been seeing for the past six months. I didn’t notice any issues with my hair while I was still in the salon, because I could only see the very front of it, but once I left the salon, I realized that my hair was uneven and patchy all throughout. Sections looked faded and others were still almost completely blonde from the bleach. I contacted the salon the next day, expressing the issue, sending photos, and asking for a refund. We exchanged several emails in which they offered a complimentary fix but denied a refund stating this could be an issue with vivids. While I understand that that’s the case, this was never expressed to me before the appointment, and I had booked this appointment the day before I went out of town, so I wouldn’t have been able to come in anytime soon, and I also unfortunately had completely lost trust in my stylist after this had happened. The inconsistencies in my hair were extremely obvious, and would’ve have been visible while my stylist was blowdrying and styling my hair, but they never addressed it, charged me full price, and sent me out of the salon with a dye job that looked like something I could’ve done in my bathroom at home. I ended up calling the salon to speak to the owner, and was told the same things I was told over email, denying even a partial refund for the service. The owner said this situation is one in which their policy is to not offer refunds in order to be fair to the customer and the hairstylist, but that they could offer a correction. This policy is not stated anywhere on their website as far as I can tell. I stated multiple times that I was not comfortable with coming back in because I had lost trust. I understand that the salon has to stand by their stylist’s work and by the time and effort they put into each appointment, but I paid $350 with a $70 tip for this service, and I left with a result that did not look like a professional had done it. Ultimately, I am frustrated that I spent that amount of money that I did on this service because I trusted my stylist only to end up with hair that I am deeply unhappy with.

I always have a great experience at SUL! My stylist, Lexi, always goes above and beyond. She’s super kind, easy to talk to, makes an effort to have a great bond with her clients, and gives me exactly what I want. She does amazing with my hair cuts and always give me her honest opinion. I walk away from every appointment not just feeling good about my hair but feeling good about myself. She compliments me and always makes me feel pretty. The studio itself is a very welcoming, comforting, and relaxing environment. I would HIGHLY recommend this studio to anyone as well as my wonderful stylist Lexi.
