Where do I start from!! I called last minute in need of service and she offered me a slot she had available. The booking process was smooth. The customer service experience is one that I have not experienced before because she was intentional about knowing what my expectations are with my loc journey. She took time to understand what I expect from a Loctician and gave me answers to questions I had about my locs that most stylists have brushed over. I love when I meet someone who genuinely loves what they do and. She accommodated me with no hesitation and made sure I was comfortable during my session. I have had my hair shed from postpartum and break off terribly from bad experiences with other Locticians, so I’m very selective on who touches my hair moving forward and honestly after the assurance and skill that I have experienced here, I am pleased to say I’m grateful I came here. When it came to styling the hair, I felt safe for hr to free style something she thinks would look great on me…. And I’m glad I did!! This is by far the best decision I have made with my locs is find someone who cares about my loc journey as much as I do. ♥️🫶🏾 a new regular has been created! Me personally I'm tender headed and don't like different people messing in my hair.. But my first visit at It's Love Lee Hair was life I got a detox wash and style. Shalesha is very gentle on the head not once did I flinch in her chair. If you're tender headed with locs like me I recommend you go see Shalesha you will not be disappointed. And it's a relaxing environment. If you don't have locs still check them out they do other styles as well and the other stylist Ashley is good as well I've seen her work.

My second time getting a retwist done by Shalesha. Her service is always so friendly and warm and you can feel the care when she’s handling your hair. My scalp and hair feel so refreshed! With locs or any style of that matter, it’s so important the person who’s doing your hair has good energy cause that energy is transferred over. And her energy is always so calm and peaceful. Being in a place where most services are really centered in Charlotte, it’s really nice to have her as a resource in Gastonia!
