The Glam Shop is my new favorite salon in downtown Gastonia!! Love the fresh &clean glamorous vibes of the shop! Anitra, is so professional and highly skilled! She made my hair feel the most healthy it has ever been in years! I got a relaxer, trim/cut and curls! Also she has the most amazing smelling products and they are designed for our type hair! 😘 I already scheduled my 2 weeks appointment! I’m super excited to see the positive changes that I’m sure I will experience, with finally having a stylist so close by☺️Thank you again girl💯

I have been coming to Anitra for a year and always love my relaxed styles , weave and natural styles . I have never had a problem with her being ruff or tugging on my hair she always does what is healthy for your hair and also assist with my scalp allergies and make sure her products are tailored to me . She will never do anything to harm your hair or scalp so not sure what Jenny corner is speaking off sounds more like a personal attack or something else going on and throwing off on your stylist is not right by no means. If there was a problem at the time of service and you addressed it she would have oblige and make changes and accommodate . Hope your next stylist can’t assist all your needs personal and mental . Thanks Anitra for all you do being a great stylist you are appreciated by many don’t let one monkey stop no show her loss you don’t need that type of client !!!!

I will not be returning. First, Anitra does not know how to detangle natural hair properly. I could hear my hair ripping as she rapidly detangled my hair. Towards the end of her ripping/detangling my hair, there was a large clump of hair that came out and Anitra had the audacity to blame my ends! She continued to complain about me needing my ends cut. I will not allow her to touch my hair again, ever. The prices are also ridiculously high. Sometimes you have to judge a stylist by the health of their own hair and Anitra's hair is unhealthy and thin so I should've turned away the first time. Never again and natural hair sisters, beware. Glam is not the one.

I've been coming to Anitra for years and she never disappoints. Her prices are reasonable and she makes sure my hair stays healthy. I'm always satisfied with the work she does.
