Urban Style Salon

I've had my hair done here for three different weddings, and makeup done twice. Always a lovely experience. The stylists are so nice, the space is beautiful and roomy enough for people to mill around and chat. They even had coffee for us. My hair and makeup have always turned out great and lasted all day. They're great at "seeing the vision" from inspo photos and making it happen.

Angela did a phenomenal job. I felt pampered and very relaxed. The salon environment was calming. I loved all the beautiful plants in the salon. Angela took time to get to know me and understand my hair. I am vey happy with the result. Thanks so much!!

I don’t usually write reviews, but the owner, Denise, and her daughter, Grace, deserve the recognition. Not only are they incredibly talented with hair, but Denise also runs an exceptional business. Grace did my hair throughout the year leading up to my wedding, and now, whenever I fly home to Wisconsin, she’s the first person I call. The salon itself feels like stepping into a friend’s home. The salon is warm, welcoming, and genuine. It’s truly an Eau Claire staple and perfectly reflects the spirit of this wonderful city.

Called last minute with a pretty big request and they couldn't have done better to accommodate and make it happen so last minute.

Though I appear calm on the outside being in public gives me extreme anxiety. I felt comfortable from the first hello when I walked in. Ashley made me feel at ease and almost happy to be out among people. She did an amazing job with my hair, I've never left a salon 100% happy until now! Ashley listened to my ideas and provided her own suggestions and together we came up with a style that suits me perfectly! Completely satisfied! Will definitely be back!

I had my hair done by Nicole. She is sweet and tender with her touch. If you like to sleep while getting your hair done. She won't mind. As woman with 4C hair it's hard to find people that knows how to do my hair properly. I appreciate that she was willing to learn. Nicole allowed.me to show her how I wanted my hair and she did a wonderful job. This was her first time doing locs and my husband is happy with my look. I enjoyed conversing with the staff. It's nice when people genuinely want to learn because they appreciate my hair texture. Don't forget to ask for a glass of wine to relax on your next visit. Thank you for the warm welcome ladies. And thank you Nicole for allowing me to be a bobble head in peace.

I had a great experience at the salon, even with a small scheduling error. I had called a few days ago to book an appointment for 9 AM today, but when I arrived, I was told I wasn’t even in the system. Thankfully, the owner, Denise, was incredibly friendly and accommodating as she was able to get me scheduled for later the same day at 3 PM. When I came back, I was taken care of by Moriah, who was wonderful. She was very gentle, made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process, and did a fantastic job on my hair. Despite the initial hiccup, I left feeling very satisfied with both the service and the results. I will definitely be coming back! 🙂
