I was able to schedule a same day hair cut. It was well done, quick, and I was given some good tips on how to upkeep my specific hair type. Very good prices too!

Alma was really nice and super social. The hair salon was super cute and everything but after a few days, I realized my curtain bangs were uneven. Other than that, she did a good job cutting my hair. I also liked how she would cut a little bit at a time to make sure that it was the length I wanted.

I got my haircut with Alma. She did a fabulous job and it turned out exactly how I wanted. I usually get long layers and framing around my face. I love that she is a local and has been in the area for quite some time. She is very accommodating and a lovely person to talk to. I love that she has so many plants in her salon and is known for helping people rehab their plants if they have issue. I moved so I won’t be going back but I wish her the best!

Great local spot in east village! The owner/hairstylist is friendly and discusses the styling to give you the cut you desire. Priced nominally as well.

Update: Alma is still the best in the city. I moved out of West Town and am not close to the salon anymore but I paid almost as much for an uber to get to her as I did for the cut and colour she gave me! And I'll keep doing it because she's worth every penny. She's not just incredibly talented either. She's one of the nicest people on the planet and also makes sure that you are the only client there at the time so that no-one has to worry about covid exposure or wear a mask if you don't want to or need to. We could use more people like her in this world. If you need a haircut or color (touch-ups, highlights, lowlights included), I can't recommend her enough! *Also in this increasingly expensive world of ours her prices haven't changed. And they were great to begin with! Alma is amazing. She's only the 3rd person to actually deliver on the exact haircut I love and wear. She makes you feel like you're her only customer in the world and she's actually affordable! Now maybe I can get the highlights I've wanted! She normally takes walk-ins but due to her prioritizing the health and welfare of her customers during covid, you're better off calling first and making an appointment. She's officially my new stylist for life! 😁

Carlos is a great guy. Alma is the problem with this establishment. She always has an attitude even when you say hi. I just think Carlos should be the owner.

Obsessed with Carlos. He does an amazing job to my hair each and every time. He never fails me! I’ve been seeing him for years and followed him to this new locations. I always just his judgement with color. He’s amazing.
