This review is so so so overdue. They do such an amazing and meticulous job, gold chrome. My nails came out beautiful and lasted so long. The tech spent so much time molding and shaping extensions from scratch on my naturally raggedy natural nails. Raggedy is no exaggeration- I wish I took before photos to drive the point home on what a miracle they worked. I literally chose this salon because of all the glowing reviews in such a short amount of time, as this salon is not close to me at all and I traveled to get there. It was worth the trip! I feel silly because afterwards I was convinced to try out a different nail place (popular one in Skokie) that my sister and childhood friend have been going to for years. BIG MISTAKE. The first set had nails coming loose 1.5 weeks in and I was reinforcing with nail glue, half of my nails were coming loose by the end of the month (NEVER had this happen with any gel manicure done anywhere). The second set was done by the rudest woman I ever met yesterday, and I will never go back there. I will spend the rest of my life apologizing to ipop for straying! They do such amazing work and I will be making an appointment with them when due. Please give them a try and support a good small business with reliable work! 6/22/25 to follow-up from my review a few weeks ago- I went back today and saw Jamal. She is so hilarious and did a beautiful job. Jamal did not yell at me once or accuse me of messing up the nails like the lady at the last nail salon, which shouldn’t be an expectation and but was appreciated anyway. Also cleaned up the overzealous gel and hack job from said previous tech and salon in Skokie. I’m very happy I went back! Pics of her work and my cat who prefers to be included for tax. Jamal was fun to be around and, as always, Linh made sure everyone was being taken care of. Cannot recommend them enough. It is absolutely worth the money and trip. 7/20 Jamal did it again. Even Linh wanted glamour shots of her beautiful work!

After few months, I finally found some amazing place to make the manicure and pedicure,my wife and I. Few blocks from my place. This place is really welcome to everyone. You feel really good inside the store and enjoying the relaxing music. After 1 minutes to talk over the phone with the manager I ready have the reservation. This place is very clean and highly professional working person. I really feel too mention few names NAZIRA,JAMAL and SABINA This 3 girls make my wife and I to feel fresh. I'm very sure I'm going back very soon. Is worth it. I have to say one more time THANK YOU!

This is now my new favorite nail salon! What an incredible experience. Mylinh (owner) was so personable and wonderful. She gave great advice on what kind of care my nails needed and provided excellent hospitality! My nail tech Jamal did an incredible job on my manicure and pedicure. She went above and beyond with fine details and took her time leaving me with the best nails I’ve ever had. I will be coming back! 10/10 recommend!

I live so close to this salon but never knew it was there! I’m so glad I read the reviews and found this local spot to get a Russian manicure. Honestly the best manicure I think I’ve had. I like to keep my nails short, and she did a beautiful job. She was quick and got the polish perfectly close to my cuticles so it will grow out nicely! Lots of colors to choose from and incredibly reasonable price.

Got my nails done by Jamal and had the most relaxing time! Very friendly and really pays attention to detail—my nails turned out amazing. I ended up chatting with both Jamal and the owner and felt so welcome. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for great nails & to support a local business. I’ll be back!

I just had my first visit to Ipop and WOW - I can honestly say I’ve never loved my nails so much!! My nail tech did such an amazing job and was so meticulous with the details. Mylinh was incredibly welcoming and I appreciated her taking the time to have a conversation and even taught me a few things about nail care! I’ve always wanted to find a nail salon close to home that I could trust to do a great job, and I’m so excited that I finally found that. I will absolutely be a returning client and would 100% recommend anyone looking for a nail salon to give Ipop Central a try!

I requested an entire new set of Gel X and they were able to see me the very next day. The manicure here is Russian style - best manicure i've had in chicago! No cuticle no hangnails, so freaking clean looking. Incredible selection of no chip, chrome, and cat eye colors. Shaping and paint job was incredible, my nail technician Z even helped me with picking my color and confirming that i liked it. i'm so happy with my new set, and it honestly was so relieving after paying so much at other salons and going home disappointed...NOT here! you get you're money's worth and fantastic hospitality from manager Mylinh
