Matilda is the best!!!!!! I've been seeing her for years, and she never disappoints. She listens to and delivers on what you want. And always has the best recommendations if you ever need help making a decision. Color, cuts, hair extensions... anything you ask for, she'll deliver. And the salon is super cute, too. The owner, Jessica, is always very polite and welcoming. Great atmosphere!

I highly recommend Salon JP! I have been going to Jessica for over ten years for my cuts and color and have always been delighted with her work. I bring my children as well for their cuts and color and they are always thrilled with the ability to express themselves with their style and how lovingly Jessica treats them. I have sent my brother, his husband and several friends and clients to Salon JP. Everyone has been thrilled with their experiences. Recently, I enjoyed Matilda's care and loved the results! They are not only talented practitioners but professional, caring and at the top of industry practices and styles that speak to a clients' preferences and lifestyles. I meant to give 0 stars. I write this review with a heavy heart. This salon fried and destroyed my daughter's hair. I brought my teenage daughter to this salon to get her first highlights. She has waist long virgin hair and I explained to Matilda before she started that I didn't want my daughter's hair to be excessively damaged and asked if she could use a not so strong bleach and developer because she has virgin hair and it should lighten easier but she dismissed my concerns simply saying it depends how much it takes to lift. I thought ok she's the hairdresser she should know what to do so I stepped back and let her do her job. Matilda left the bleach in my daughter's hair for more than an hour, even longer on the side she foiled first. Hair is never supposed to be bleached for more than 30 minutes to avoid damage, I wish I had known this. After blowdrying and processing her hair she hot ironed her bleached hair. I felt worried when I saw her do this but again I told myself she is the "professional" she should know best...but she didn't. It is highly advised to avoid heat on bleached hair for weeks after bleaching to prevent further damage that can cause hair to be dead and feel dry like grass. That's what my daughter's hair looks and feels like now. I also did ask her about it once it was an hour and she said it was ok. My daughter has lots of broken hairs and fly aways that stick out from the rest of her hair. This place was very unfriendly, careless and unprofessional. It's the worst choice I have ever made. I searched for weeks to find a good salon, this one had good reviews and NO bad reviews (I should have been suspicious). I also based it on their social media platform which made the hairdressers look very stylish, professional, and friendly infering that they are good with hair and people. In my experience this is further from the truth. This is the magic of staged professional photos on social media and self promoting lies. And the last thing, my daughters' hair cuts were nothing like what we asked for. She basically just gave them a trim. I can't end this review without mentioning how rude the other stylist Jessica was. She's supposedly the owner but she was very unprofessional, never greeted us or welcomed us when she buzzed us in. This is an honest review, my daughter's hair was so shiny and healthy when we walked in to the salon, and after her hair was fried and damaged. I hope this review helps someone make the right decision for their hair.

Been going to Salon JP since it opened and can’t see myself going anywhere else! Jess is amazingly talented and professional. She and the rest of stylists are all welcoming and fun to be around - look forward to every cut and style I get! Cannot recommend enough if you want to look your best!

Jess is the best stylist that I’ve ever had. She has impeccable taste and style herself which translates to cutting edge hair for her clients. I wouldn’t go to anyone or anywhere else! Plus her Rise & Slay neon is perfect for your post-cut selfie when you’re feeling yourself 👌🏽

I used to see Daniela here before she moved and went to George for the first time in August. I chopped my hair to shoulder length and did a baliage. I don't go to the salon very often and I was more than impressed with the results. I have had so many compliments on how great of a job he did. Incredibly nice guy too, he discusses your options and outcomes of different processes and in relation to what has already been done to your hair (reference coloring). I cannot recommend enough!
