Kala Salon

Been going to Asif Ranjan for a few years now and have to say he's the best hair stylist I have come across in a very long time. He understands hair texture and colors; have never had hair color bleed from a treatment at his place unlike all the other places I have been to. The color lasts for months and the slow fade is gorgeous. And he gives you a fabulous hair cut too. He's pretty good with working with what suits your hair texture, skin tone, and addresses all questions in layman terms. He honestly is the best!

Asif is AMAZING!! I started going to Kala Salon about 5 years ago, after a really bad haircut from another place, and Asif fixed my hair and I have been going here since. He is the ONLY one I trust with my hair and he does a fantastic job every time. The salon is warm and inviting and all the staff here are great. He also started his own hairline and the products are outstanding. Asif know his stuff, is an expert at hair and has amazing talent working at his salon. They are the best because they train with the best. Give them a try- you may find a salon you’ll go to for life. ((Seriously))!!

This place is modern and everyone here is so nice! I came for a trial for my wedding hairdo, and Erica was absolutely amazing! She experimented with my hair, and came up with the most beautiful braided crown that fell in soft curls. On the wedding day, she came to me to do my hair and my mom's hair. She did an absolutely superb job, and I will certainly go to her again when I need to get my hair done!

The salon is super chic and modern with an amazing atmosphere, friendly staff and exceptional customer service. Just my type of place! Daniela is the stylist you want to go see! She does an outstanding job...every time. Great listener with an artistic eye. Her attention to detail is unmatched. She's the best!

Incredible experience. Was greeted and had my coat taken and a drink in hand within seconds of walking in. Alyssa was fabulous! Great consultation and she gave me exactly what I wanted. I did a single process on top and then bayalage. Followed with a blow dry and some beautiful wavy curls. Definitely my new go to place!

​It was the first time I used this salon, and I'm delighted to say the service was excellent. My stylist owner Asif was absolutely knowledgeable in different techniques and looks. He carefully consulted with me and proceeded to counsel on my best choices. The salon has a nice vibe to it. All in all, my first hair cut here was perfect. I didn't feel rushed. Blow out was beyond perfect too. And I have been to so many salons in the city, hands down Asif is the best. Roland did an amazing job on my hair. My hair is long but thin, and he was able to keep my length while giving me shape. His patience and attention to detail made all the difference. I can easily say this was the best salon experience I've ever had!
