I went in to get highlights and low lights of a bright blonde/Light caramel undertone tryingto get rid of this (natural) mousy brown that I have. I Have my daughter's wedding this weekend and now I have more of the mousy brown and hardly any blonde highlights which I wanted a bright blonde instead. I wanted what was on the right and I ended up with what was on the left ugh. It looked great in the salon until the next morning. Now I'm gonna have to spend another $300 to get it fixed before this weekend. The color is not even close to what I wanted. I am extremely disappointed too expensive to have it wrong.

Annabelle was very patient and was a great listener. She asked good questions and provided her knowledge on the style I wanted. Before she made any big moves she always checked in and was very attentive. She was very gentle and took her time with the haircut and styling! Definitely recommend her to anyone.

Marie totally saved my hair! Lesson learned.. don’t try to bleach your own hair 😅 I walked in thinking my only option was going all solid brown to correct my bleached orange hair but Marie worked her magic and gave me a beautiful balayage! Loved the salons energy and will be a repeat customer there at Taki!

Elona has been my go to for 10+ years. She always takes the time to listen, understands exactly what I want, and makes my hair look flawless every single time. I like the contemporary look of the salon. First time here, got booked with Diana for a haircut to get my hair shaped up. I arrived on time for my 9 AM appointment, but the salon wasn't fully prepared and was still getting ready. I went in with an idea of what I wanted. I showed a picture of the haircut to my stylist and she assured she could do it. Diana didn't engage in conversation but responded to my inquiries when I asked. Since she had another appointment, she only had time to give me the haircut. Despite my punctuality for the appointment, I had to switch to another stylist to have my hair done. I believe it was Elana who set my hair. The heat during the styling felt slightly intense. I've been a patron of another well-known salon in Canton for the past few years. Taki come close to achieving the desired result, but there are still some minor adjustments needed. Hoping this review will encourage them to make those improvements. Despite these minor issues, I'm giving a 4-star rating because I achieved the exact look I wanted. Diana gave a nice haircut and Elona styled it the way I wanted. In response to the questions I asked, Elona offered her expert guidance and recommendations. Overall, I am happy with the result and very reasonable prices.

I had a disappointing experience at this salon. Upon arrival, I wasn’t greeted and had to awkwardly wait before being directed to a seat. The stylist was also about 10 minutes behind schedule. When it came to my eyebrow tint, I wasn’t asked about shape or my expectations, and unfortunately, the result wasn’t great—it’s safe to say I’ll be sticking to my usual spot in Dearborn for eyebrows. The hair service was better, but even then, they didn’t ask where I wanted my part. Throughout the appointment, my stylist seemed distracted, as she was talking to another stylist the entire time. To make matters worse, as soon as the other client arrived, she addressed them before even finishing with me. Overall, I felt neglected and that my needs weren’t fully considered. I won’t be returning.

If you are considering doing any sort of color highlights full bleaching anything the works I highly recommend it I have ultra ultra bleach blonde hair and it's something that not every stylist can do well and keep your hair healthy.
