Kim is absolutely AMAZING!!! She listened and gave such helpful advice of my overdo haircut of 3 years, she made me so comfortable the minute I sat in her chair! Kim brought the beauty back into my hair after 3yrs! We need more women and hairstyles like you! I’m FOREVER a customer! Thank You Kim!

The service is always outstanding. They always seem to not only follow the trends but be ahead of them. When you walk out happy their happy. Kim is awesome and Rachele is one of the most talented makeup artists for any occasion. I'd recommend any of their staff as they all are gifted.

My first appointment was June 2019, for shampoo/trim with Kim. Upon arrival, I was promptly greeted by the front desk staff. The salon is in an older house, very nicely decorated and clean. The staff and clients all seemed to be happy, whether they were arriving for or leaving after their appointment. Kim was very attentive to my desired cut and was a pleasure to converse with throughout my appointment. I left knowing my first visit wouldn't be my last. Fast forward to January 2020, time for my second trim. I was able to be scheduled with Kim within a few days, which worked great with my schedule. Again, I left extremely satisfied with my hair. A couple of days later, my daughter and I decided it would be fun to have either manicures or pedicures together so I telephoned the salon. While the schedule was too full for each of us to have both, we chose a manicure and Nicole was able to do us that afternoon. Nicole is also very friendly and professional. Her work area is clean and she takes great care to ensure cleanliness throughout appointments. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our time of pampering and Nicole made it seem as if we'd been friends for years. I booked another manicure a couple of weeks later, followed by a pedicure a few days after that. Those were the best manicure and pedicure I've ever had. She offers fun suggestions, listens to the clients desires and is extremely gentle with her tools and techniques. Her attention to detail is like no other. The pedicure was relaxing and my feet look better than they have in years! Whether you are new to the area or may be seeking a different stylist or nail tech, I highly recommend Hair Designs North in Dearborn.

This was my second appointment at Hair Designs North. I was extremely happy last month with my cut, so I couldn't wait to get my hair trimmed, and have a fresh look to it... I wear a simple bob, and asked for it to be trimmed to just under my chin. As you can see by the first picture,, the cut is much shorter and there is chunk of hair missing, to where it won't even stay behind my ear as in the 2nd picture from last month. I'm not sure if I will be back, I know I won't need my February appointment, not sure about March...

Darren did an awesome job on my hair! And my nails look AMAZING! Clean, nice, friendly atmosphere! Will be a life time client from now on! Very pleased!

Kim and her staff have a great atmosphere and great customer service! You leave feeling like a million, but you won't spend it! Their products, lotions and potions are unique and lovely!

I love Kim! She is amazing! 25 years of coming here and she is my all time favorite. She is very skilled. Don't bother going anywhere else.
