Zina's Hair Salon

I am SO glad I went to Zina’s! I’d been thinking of going to a salon to get a trim and consult for years, and finally ended up at Zina’s from a friend’s recommendation. Zina gave me so much information and recommendations, and so much care. Even though I was just getting a trim and blow dry, I left the salon feeling confident knowing that Zina was now a part of my hair journey. I can’t wait to go back! They treat their clients like family.

Zina is a blessing to the salon industry. I’ve driven by her salon for years, but due to salon trauma, I stayed away. Though I was attracted to the fact that it was Black owned, I remained skeptical. It was until I truly grew tired of my hair and needed a professional trim and full assessment. Y’all…Zina hooked me UP!!! She was so kind and knowledgeable about what my hair was lacking. She gave me the info, the skills, the tools, and she genuinely cared for my hair from start to finish. Her team were welcoming and made me laugh, which is a huge plus for my comfortability. When my mentor called to pray over me, Zina prayed with us. She’s a gem to the community, and she’s the reason why the salon community continues to exist. God bless her and her beautiful salon.

I walked in to this hair salon on a Friday evening just 15 minutes before closing time and was graciously welcomed by the owner, Zina. All I needed was a quick clean-up of my short haircut at the nape of my neck and the back. Even though the salon was still busy, Zina kindly worked me in. In less than 10 minutes, she had done exactly what I wanted—and when I asked what I owed, she simply smiled and said there would be no charge. Her generosity and professionalism truly made my day. I left not only with a great haircut but also with a big smile. Highly recommend this salon!

I am so thankful for Zina. I have been struggling with my scalp slowly for the past 10 years and have gone to many hairstylists and dermatologist and nothing has been working, so sadly it’s been getting worse. When I found Zina, she took me in for a consultation and was very warm, kind, and sensitive to me. She told me the best thing for my hair and gave me two dermatologist recommendations She gave me a plan for my hair and I couldn’t be happier. I feel like she was my hair doctor and angel. I know that I am in good hands and I was so thankful that I cried driving home from our first consultation. It was a sigh of relief. Great people skills & great hair skills! So very thankful Ps. Zina is accommodating and has a vast knowledge about hair care. She shared numerous tricks and tips with me on how to continue caring for my daughter’s hair. When I called it was a bit impromptu as my daughter suggested the morning of her birthday she wanted to get her hair straightened… I called Zina, not being sure she’d be able to fit us in but as fate would have it, her 6pm canceled and she fit us right in. The experience was great. We have our first hair dresser since moving here from the Caribbean. Thanks Zina.

When I called to book an appointment the beautician was thorough in explaining the process, prices and asking details of my current hair state. On the day of my appointment I was greeted and taken care of immediately. Based on my hair type Zina took care of it for the maximum results. She explained everything she was doing and recommended what’s best for optimal hair growth and for a radiant healthy hair color. As a first time customer I was given a hair mask sample, and $5 off my next trim. I appreciate this service and I will go back. My hair went from stiff to flowing with the wind.

After being natural for 5 years I finally decided to go back to a relaxer. I was so nervous about the process but Zina helped put me at ease! She’s knowledgeable, gentle & creates such a welcoming environment! After a consult she recommended a texturizer instead of a traditional relaxer for my hair type (my hair is very fragile & thin) & I absolutely love the results! I’m looking forward to easier wash & style days!
