MK Hair Studio

I’ve been the first time to the MK Hair Studio and I was very much time pressured. However, the studio could give me a haircut within 30 min. My stylist the day was Michelle, which is very friendly and courteous. I can very much recommend to have your hair being cut at the MK Hair Studio. Excellent!

Can’t believe I haven’t reviewed before now, but MK studio has been great for me! Ashlee has helped me through repairing box dye, cutting my hair so I can keep it looking nice even when I had zero energy, and trying out new color options. And Tammy did my wedding hair! Everybody is great and it feels like you’re at home.

Ashlee is incredible! She worked an absolute miracle on hair that had been hacked at by an inexperienced stylist at a budget chain. She's so sweet and personable, my nerves melted away as soon as I sat down. She did a beautiful job and I have never been happier with a haircut. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and will return whenever I am in town.

I’ve been here twice now and it was great! My stylist was Ashlee and she was so helpful and even moved around my time when my dog had an emergency vet appointment. I got a cut and color and both were exactly what I wanted! Especially as stylists usually struggle with my fine & curly/wavy hair and Ashlee knew just what to do with it!

Ashlee cut my hair and she did a great job with my split-end filled bird's nest. I hadn't gotten my hair cut for ~8 months and it needed help and my regular local salon had not yet opened. Services are and will be different now with new Covid-19 guidelines in place and I know small businesses are struggling to meet them but I just wanted to say that I felt comfortable and safe at MK Hair Studio and I will be returning in the future.

They started me 10 minutes late since they were ordering lunch, and finished in under 20 minutes. The stylist never introduced herself to me, or bothered to talk to me aside from asking what I wanted. She also never told me how much she was taking off and just started cutting. She was cursing as she talked to the other stylists. The haircut itself was okay, it's shorter than I wanted, but the style works. Overall, it was okay, but I didn't feel welcomed or as if they wanted to keep me long term as a customer

Ashlee styled my hair for my wedding day on site at the ceremony location. My wedding was at the beginning of August when temperatures were in the 100's for days so I was very worried about how my hair style would hold up for the ceremony and photos. On the wedding day it was in the high 90's with high humidity and rain so Ashlee advised me to go with an elegant updo. She did an amazing job with what I envisioned for an updo that would go well with my makeup and wedding dress. The hair style held up all day and night (which I did not expect!). My hairstyle stayed intact through bridal photos in the rain and even dancing at the reception. Thank you Ashlee for glamming me up and helping me feel my best on my wedding day!
