single-handedly the BEST experience I’ve had with a hairstylist in my entire life. Teo is a truly gifted woman. Went in with dead-ends and partly damaged hair and came out looking like a new woman. Don’t be afraid of the price tag because you definitely get what you pay for. Look at her instagram to see how amazing she is. She is super sweet and talented. Such a safe haven for curly haired girlies like me.

I was nervous for my first haircut with Teo because I’ve had some rough haircuts at other salons in the past. Now, she is the only hair dresser I will trust with my curls! When it comes to curls, Teo is a highly skilled artist. She is attentive to all of your hair preferences and concerns, while also guiding you toward a solution that she believes will work for YOUR hair type. Last year, in an attempt to save some $, I visited a different hairdresser for some highlights…big mistake on my part. They were stripey, yellow, and they completely dried out my hair. I later visited Teo for a cut, and she absolutely TRANSFORMED me. The quality of this her work is completely worth the price. A truly good curly cut is an investment I’ll never skimp out on again!! First time at this salon, and I got my hair cut with Teo! She perfectly executed the length off that I wanted while keeping what I did want (to hit the shoulders) which is definitely tricky to get when hair is curly. She was detail oriented with her cut and even did a spot check after my hair was washed and dried which I appreciated. The styling wasn’t overcomplicated and didn’t involve a million products and steps so the results felt very reproducible. Staff was friendly and welcoming, atmosphere was very nice.

Teo is a gifted curly-hair artist. She understands curls on a level I’ve rarely experienced. I’ve tried several curly hair salons in the Boston area, and none come close to the artistry Teo brings to her work. Highly recommend!

An absolute miracle haircut. Best I have ever had. Everyone was so kind and went above and beyond to coach me on taking care of my curls. I can’t believe how healthy and full my hair looked after my cut. Go here!!! Teo is incredible.

I hesitate to write too good of a review because if they book too many people I may not be able to get in to see Teo on such short notice as I did this last week! I called a week ahead for a long (nearly 5 hour) appointment and was even willing to come in on two different days but they made time in their schedule for me and I know they are probably really busy (really appreciated!!). When I came in Teo remarked that she had been doing my hair for over 3, maybe 4 years now and I didn’t realize it had been so long; but I’d never consider going anywhere else. Every time I go in I swear that as soon as Teo touches my hair it just starts radiating light somehow. I wasn’t sure what I wanted but I was sure that I wanted to dye my hair for the first time and Teo took time to sit with me and help me figure out what would look best and be healthiest for my hair and she didn’t mind too much when I changed my mind basically last second too. I was nervous because it’s the first time I’ve ever colored my hair but it came out better than I could have dreamed and I’m very happy I got it done and look forward to it growing out and maybe doing more colors in the future. Teo and the rest of her staff are all artists and it’s worth every penny going here if you have curly hair and want to have it done by the best. I can’t recommend it enough to anybody!!!! The pictures by the piano are from today (the Monday after my haircut, which was last Friday). The other pictures are from right after I got it done.

I found Teo in 2023 and fell in love with her work. She ALWAYS listens to what I want and perfectly executes. I left her studio in 2023 giddy with excitement that I felt "sexy" with my curls. I also left with some knowledge on how to layer my curl routine. My curls have never looked better.
