This salon went above and beyond for my daughter and I, and if we are ever back in LA we will definitely be going back again. ❤️ The owner of Glamourax (Arax TerOvsepyan) was able to accommodate us and get us scheduled two days before our event, and when I told her we would be needing full glam as we would be coming in for a Make A Wish ⭐ red carpet event she not only got us on the schedule at the last minute but gave us all of our hair and makeup services on the house. This is a team of truly wonderful people and we loved our time here. Sonna Badryan did an amazing job with our hair and Anahis Torosian did our makeup. Both stylists made us feel comfortable and were so kind, they pulled off exactly what we had wanted in both of our inspo. pictures we brought in, and we got so many compliments on our hair and makeup all evening. We looked at several other salons and local artists before booking this and I'm just so grateful I found this salon when I was looking because they truly helped to make our day so special and fun and I could not be more grateful we found them. Truly a wonderful experience! 10/10 recommend 👍🏻

I had an appointment today to cut my hair with Arax and her lovely styling team. I’m genuinely horrible at remembering names but I think Vanessa and Lusine helped and they were all phenomenal! Arax got my hair cut vision perfectly and worked so well with my specific hair type to create my ideal cut. I’m really particular with my hair cuts and she did great at not only listening to me but also using her years of experience to guide next steps for my type of hair. I genuinely feel comfortable with letting her do whatever she wants with my hair given she clearly has a solid vision. Thanks to her team for always providing great service.

Worst salon experience I’ve had. As a first timer, I chose this salon based off the high ratings. My stylist, Marina, was also mentioned in good reviews, so I had high expectations. My experience fell short with Marina. Right from the beginning, she repeatedly chuckled at how much grey hair I have. As a 30-year old, I’m not easily offended but I just wanted to point out her unprofessionalism. I’m not even going to go in detail about the tension between Marina and the assistant while they were doing my hair nor how Marina repeatedly walked away mid-service to chat with others. The main issue is that I asked for dark brown hair, but I left with jet black hair. After washing off the dye and seeing how black it is, Marina kept exaggerating how good the color looked (which felt so insincere) and that it would fade after 3–4 washes - but after 2 months, it’s still black! The biggest disappointment is with the owner, Arax. SHE reached out to ME to keep her "posted on how the color last" and how she has "notes & pictures recorded for next time" (which now just seems like a copy/paste technique to get a 5* rating and not an actual sincere message). After replying to her stating my hair is still black, she offered a "free or deeply discounted service." After asking for availability she basically ghosted me. It seems like she’s only responsive to get clients in, but once she gets your money, she just leaves you on "read." Genuinely asking - what is the point of asking clients for updates and offering a correction then ignoring the client?? Such a shady business that does not deserve these high ratings. I paid $285 + $50 tip for them to cut & dye my hair that could’ve easily be done at home. I only came in to treat myself at 6 weeks postpartum, and instead left feeling disappointed. Not only do I feel scammed, but I now have to spend additional money to get a color correction.

Absolutely obsessed with my haircut by Arax! Awesome service, friendly staff and super fun vibes in the salon. They really know what they're doing. I obviously highly recommend going there. You won't regret it

Absolutely love this place! I’ve gotten my haircut by Arax and another recently with Sonna and both times I’ve gotten so many compliment! With their magic my hair always feels fresh, silky and bouncy after! Honestly the only place I’ll go to get my haircut, always perfect!

I was searching for quality clip in extensions and sought Glamourax out via Instagram DM and Arax went above and beyond messaging me back and forth for days, helping me color match and select. I then came into the salon where she shaped up my hair to blend in with the extensions. Overall a great experience and everyone there is awesome! Will be coming back for HMU for my engagement photos. I also got my Hair and Makeup done here for my engagement photos and it was STUNNING. To this day people point out how incredible it looked. My photographer is very experienced and even he was blown away. They’ve started recommending this salon to their clients. I got my hair done by Denise and my makeup from Anahit.

If you’re a new client, get ready to be treated as a prop for their social media. They’re more concerned about getting their pictures/shots for their business than they are about YOU. I hadn’t had a haircut at a salon over five years and after this experience I’m probably never going to one anytime soon. Here’s a tip. When you have a new client, make it about them. Talk to them and ask them questions like how do you normally like wearing your hair? Up? Down? This will make all the difference regardless of what the client wants. It also shows that you CARE about your client and want them feeling comfortable. I have fine hair and I usually always wear my hair up. I just wanted light face framing layers in the front but this made my hair look even thinner now. I absolutely hate my cut and regret stepping into this salon. Nothing against the girl who cut my hair but she was very inexperienced and I wish I had done better vetting this place before letting her touch my hair.
