Jenny, Sara, and Bella created THE MOST STUNNING hair for my daughter (the bride), her bridesmaids, her mother in law, her grandma, and me! Everyone had a unique, gorgeous style that suited each woman perfectly. The stylists worked tirelessly to ensure every last strand of hair was perfect. Cannot recommend this team enough! Love these ladies!

Had another incredible experience at Alex Amilio salon today. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. My stylist, Jenny, gave me the perfect haircut. I’ve been coming here for years and always feel so pampered and confident leaving the salon.

I had a very serious, life-altering decision to make. My son and I needed haircuts. Not "trim around the ears" haircuts. I’m talking legacy-defining, "people will write songs about this fade" level decisions. So we did what any responsible father does. We consulted ChatGPT. We Googled like detectives in a Netflix docuseries. We drove around Birmingham questioning our existence. And then… we found Alex Emilio Salon. Now listen. I know there’s a Royal Oak location. I respect Royal Oak. I wave at it when I drive by. But Royal Oak did not have Lisa and Maria. And Lisa and Maria are not optional. They are the Avengers of hair. I was skeptical at first. Who has a 4.9 on Google and actually deserves it? Who has an Instagram that looks like a shampoo commercial directed by Christopher Nolan and then somehow delivers in real life? Lisa and Maria. That’s who. They took the time. They listened. They sculpted. At one point I’m pretty sure there was orchestral music playing as the cape came off. The result? My son and I could not function the next day. We genuinely considered skipping work and school because the compliments were becoming a full-time job. Teachers were squinting. Strangers were nodding in approval. I caught my own reflection and whispered, "Okay sir." That place is fire. The secret is already out. But if you see two guys walking around Birmingham looking like we just stepped off a father-son GQ cover… mind your business. It was Lisa and Maria. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

This was my first time at this salon, and I couldn’t be happier. Sara B did an amazing job exactly what I wanted and better than I expected. I walked out loving my hair for the first time. I’ll definitely be back and am already recommending this salon to everyone!

Best salon in the area! All staff is professional and they are very accommodating to their clients needs and go above and beyond to make sure their client is happy, Jenny has been my hairdresser for over 15 years!!! I love my hair every time!!!

Cindy did such an amazing job!! I went to a salon near this one and had the worst experience and a friend told me to come here. I was booked with Cindy and she was EXCELLENT. Super cute and down to earth and just made me feel so comfortable. I’ve never had a person so knowledgeable about hair and this is by far the best hair cut and color of my life! I will be returning.

I have been going to Maria for my hair for around 3 years and she has COMPLETELY saved and transformed my hair. From color, to extensions, she is absolutely fantastic. Always such a clean, fun environment and she is so personable! Definitely recommend seeing her and coming to this salon!!
