Excellent service so far as I've experienced as a new client! I really appreciate stylist Caitlin and her knowledge and skill in color. I really appreciate Josh (?)the nail tech in the spa. He's very personable, down to earth, and skilled. I also enjoyed working with Katy at the front desk, very sweet, helpful and knowledgeable, good a her job. I have enjoyed all three of my first visits to your salon & spa in the Old Mill District!

I came in fully aware that I needed a big chop to remove damaged hair and was really looking forward to the appointment. Unfortunately, the experience was uncomfortable and disappointing. Donika made dismissive comments about my hair, including referring to it as "whatever that is," which felt rude and made me not feel good about myself. There was little to no conversation, and the overall tone felt cold and unwelcoming. I genuinely wanted to leave halfway through the service. My hair was also not dried or even offered to be dried, which was especially frustrating given that it was 20 degrees outside. This experience was a stark contrast to my previous visit with Marlee, which was fun, warm, and exactly what I expect from this salon. I’d strongly recommend doing your research on stylists before booking.

I've been seeing Maria for some time now and she is so consistent. I have pretty simple hair needs, although I do go back and forth on bangs often, and she rolls with me and what I'm feeling in the moment. She wasn't recommended, I was assigned her when I first started going so I truly lucked out!!! Love her and my experience at Avalon. Friendly, helpful staff. Reasonable prices.

I was able to secure a massage appointment the day before and received an excellent 90-minute massage. Avalon is conveniently located in the Old Mill District shopping area. Avalon had a warm, inviting atmosphere and offers many other services. The next time I am in Bend I look forward to getting another massage.

Maddie did a great facial! She is very sweet and knowledgeable and I'll be back for more. My massage was also wonderful, one of the best I've had. Both my mother in law and I had a very nice relaxing time at the spa. Thanks again!

Today I saw Marlee for color and she was amazing! Sweet, gentle, did exactly what I asked for, and gave the most relaxing hand massage during my shampooing. I would definitely see her again!

I had just lost my mom and I was feeling pretty rough . A massage was gifted to me. When I entered the back, the ambience was so peaceful, beautiful, and it smelled so nice. Ronda gave the best message. Exactly what I needed during this time of grief.
