Sunny was my hair artist. I had long virgin hair before with 1/2 extensions. I wanted to do something different and easier to maintain since I work a lot. Sunny was very gentle and walked me through the whole process. I provided him some inspiration photos from Pinterest and he did an amazing job! I absolutely love my hair and it feels very healthy. 🥰 Been getting tons of compliments! Process: Remove hair extensions>wash>cut>bleach>wash>toner>final cut>blowout Total ~$400
Stylist Sam was our guy, it was our first time here as a friend in the hood referred us. Men's haircuts start at $35, includes wash, style and cut. Longer hair is extra. My kiddo wanted a fringe cut and with a photo on his cell, he showed Sam what he liked. Sam was detailed and asked questions throughout to ensure the part, the side sweep and look was working out as planned. My kiddo was very pleased with his final results and was smiling happily when we left. We'll be sure to return for the next maintenance cut. Totally recommend.
BEWARE! RUINED HAIR. LOSS $418. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON, SUNNY OR YAYAN, FOR HAIR BLEACHING! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. PLEASE SEE PICTURES. First-time customer. I went in for a simple root bleach touch-up and highlights, which I’ve done many times before without issues. However, everything went wrong from the moment I walked in. I had scheduled my appointment a week in advance, and over the phone, I was quoted $250-275 for the touch-up. When I arrived, they told me the price would be $380-400. There was no transparency about the pricing, and I was on a tight timeline for a work conference in two weeks. I reluctantly agreed to the price, but it was already clear this salon doesn’t care about honesty or customer trust. The problems started when Sunny began the bleaching process. I should’ve known something was off when the bleach felt too hot on my scalp. I’ve had my hair bleached many times, and it’s never felt this uncomfortable. The foil was left on too long, and Sunny didn’t notice the bleach was becoming too harsh. By the time he removed it, a significant amount of hair had thinned out and fell out easily. I went in with thick, waist-length hair, but by the end, 70% of it was gone, and what remained was dry and brittle. My hair felt completely ruined, and no one seemed to care. The color was the worst part. I asked for a simple root touch-up, but it was a complete disaster. The bleach didn’t lift evenly, and I ended up with blotchy sections of hair. The root area turned bright, brassy orange, while the rest had uneven tones. I showed them a picture of a color I had loved, but they couldn’t replicate it. Despite multiple attempts, they couldn’t get it right, and no one took responsibility for the poor results. They wasted my time, my trust, and clearly don’t know what they’re doing with bleach. They tried fixing the color with several toning attempts, but each one made it worse. The second attempt left sections with orange and brassy tones. I reluctantly agreed to a "milk tea" brown, but it was still uneven with sections showing brassy patches. At this point, I realized they were just guessing and didn’t actually have the skills to fix the mess they had created. The entire process dragged on for 8 hours. I arrived at 11:00 AM, and by 7:00 PM, I was done. My hair was destroyed, the color was a mess, and I hadn’t received what I came for. Despite all the time and damage, they still charged me $418. I was furious and demanded compensation, but instead, they kept me waiting for 25 minutes, offering no real solution. They asked me to come back so they can fix it another day, giving my hair some time to "rest." I couldn’t believe the audacity. They ruined my hair, and now they wanted me to come back for more? When it came time to pay, they didn’t provide a proper receipt. They gave me a handwritten one that didn’t match the amount I paid and was hard to read. How unprofessional can you get? It felt like they were just trying to cover up their mistakes and avoid any real accountability. By the time I left, I was in tears. I am still in tears and have such low self-esteem now. I walked in expecting a simple touch-up, but left with ruined hair, and I had paid $418. I will never trust this salon again. I’m now left with damaged, uneven hair and forced to live with it. This salon doesn’t deserve your business. They clearly don’t care about customer satisfaction, and their lack of skill and professionalism is shocking. I will NEVER recommend this salon. If you care about your hair, your time, or your money, please find a different salon. This place does not know how to handle bleach treatments, and the lack of professionalism and respect for customers is unacceptable. They never apologized. Save yourself the frustration and the heartache – avoid this place at all costs. Attached: Before picture, what I wanted, during picture, after picture.
I’ve always had shaky experiences with hair salons, but this was the first time I’ve felt so well taken care of by a salon. As soon as I arrived, the stylists got straight to work. My hair was washed and I was sat in the chair within 20 minutes. Zoey cut my hair and she saw the vision I wanted. I showed her a reference picture for long layers that swopped at the ends, which she then adjusted according to my hair length and weight. We were offered complimentary snacks and drinks as well. Zoey was fast and efficient. She knew exactly what to do and how to do it without wasting time. When the service came to an end, I didn’t feel as though I was being rushed out or begged for tips. I tipped of course, but out of my own desire to tip. They charged me exactly what they told me on the phone, no surprises, no fees (I paid in cash). I even got a free bottle of shampoo as a small gift from them! Very thoughtful and efficient. Definitely, will be coming back again.
Terrible experience, didn’t speak English at all so there was a huge language barrier, didn’t introduce himself so i don’t even know who gave me a haircut. I gave him an inspo picture and got a terrible downperm, put chemicals all in my hair that did nothing, didn’t hold up at all and they tried to fix it and it still looked terrible. I just spent 200 dollars for the worst cut in my life. If they weren’t capable of doing what I showed, they should’ve suggested something else but they tried anyways. I spent 3 and half hours for something that should’ve taken half of that. I only paid so I can leave as soon as possible. Don’t come here.
I was so excited to get my hair done, as it's been years since I've gotten it professionally dyed and I got recommended this place by two people I know. I made the appointment on Instagram where I was required to pay a deposit. The day of my appointment I walked in and they had no idea what I was coming in for and didn't even ask for my name so honestly what was the deposit for? I told them I made the appointment via Instagram and website and explained to them what I wanted and showed them a picture of what I wanted twice. I told them in advance my hair was previously dyed so they knew and they told me it may not match exactly but it'll be "close" so I believed them. They explained the process to me but it's not what ended up happening and they grew silent as the process went on. What they did was bleach my hair three separate times and then give up and style and cut it and call it a day, no dye or anything. The guy told me to not dye my hair red anymore because it's too hard to get out. It wasn't red, it was brassy from the bleach that needed toner. In the pictures Is what I wanted vs what I got. Completely different and way too light which is absolutely not what I wanted. I messaged the account to express my disappointment and they offered to fix it for free and I waited several hours for them to respond so I just went to the store, bought box dye and attempted to fix the mess myself. My poor hair is fried from all the bleach and it wasn't even worth it. Another client was complaining while I was there that they messed up her color on previously dyed hair too. Maybe this place is only good with virgin hair because apparently they are color blind when it comes to dye on dye. I wouldn't have minded If it was close but it absolutely wasn't. My hair was darker when I went in and was closer to what I wanted than it was when I left. Will absolutely not be returning to "fix for free" when it should have been done right or close to right in the first place.
Came here from friends recommendation. Service was amazing and Sunny is really friendly. The process was almost 3 hours and he offered me some water(appreciate the small detail). Came in unsure of exactly what I wanted but the stylist gave great advice and the results were amazing. Really happy on how it came out 😀
