Tim did a phenomenal job creating exactly what I wanted. Usually I have a lot of anxiety with getting a haircut, but Tim made the experience excellent. He also showed me how to style my hair throughout the process for everyday life for curtain bangs and creating volume. I recommend coming in with a video/photos you want to create along with directiions and Tim follows everything! He is an amazing hair stylist! I appreciate that he checks in throughout the process if I like the style. He created a very comfortable environment. He is very detailed in creating my desired layers and length while thinning my hair. This is one of the rare times that I enjoy my hair style right after getting my haircut. My hair has never felt lighter. I highly recommend!

I’ve been to this salon before and always had a wonderful experience, so this time I decided to bring my mother along—and it was just as great as I expected. From the hair wash to the haircut and blow dry, everything was done with so much care. The entire staff was hands on deck, making sure we both felt comfortable and well taken care of. My mother enjoyed it just as much as I did, and we both left very happy with our hair. It’s always the same excellent service every visit, which is why I keep coming back. Highly recommend!

Overall the experience was okay and they were very nice. Just make sure you are VERY careful what you tell them. I came in asking for a trim and layers. However they absolutely thinned the life out of my hair. I’ve spent years growing my hair and just like that it was gone. My hair is overall shorter by more then 3 inches and my hair is 2x thinner then it ever been. Maybe I should’ve said something but I trusted their expertise and I didn’t expect them to cut off so much. I only fully saw after they swept up all the hair they cut off and when it was fully dry. I still made sure to tip them over 30% for their work and time but if you go here make sure to tell them EXACTLY what you want and monitor them closely.

My kids had their hair cut by Sophia and couldn’t be happier. Not only is Sophia a master of her craft, but she is also incredibly kind and patient. I was so impressed that I decided to have her do my hair as well, and she managed to make me look ten years younger! ☺️

I have seen Tim to have my hair colored a few times, and enjoyed the experience! The lad time I went in he used a different product to color my hair, this time my hair came out a deep color of Navy Blue. I was pleased, but several days later my hair started fading to a dark gray, and there was no color loss! I went back to Artistique salon to speak with Tim as his associate recommended. He was rude and said I had an angry face! I was hurt because I had always had a decent exchange and enjoyed Tim’s conversation. I was not angry, I went in to discuss what could maybe be done to correct my hair! I took his card and said we could talk later! I called him to discuss and he told me that the new product he used was different, but that the after care product I was using was cheap, although it was the sameproduct I had used on his previous colors! He told me he had no answers because he isn’t a chemist, and that is what he should be considered when apply bleach and color to someone’s hair! He told me that I could come back but that I should show him more respect,and that confused me, because I have never showed him anything less than respect! At the end after setting an appointment, he then told me not to be offended, but that he didn’t really think that amount Ibwas tipping was enough! I was as insulted and I told him that he could cancel the color correction! I think he was very rude to call me angry, as Iveas suffering from a health condition! He charged me more that the average for the color and cut, and then insulted me by telling my tipping was below average! I would recommend he fix his attitude towards people who actually recommend someone with chemist background to fix hair! See the extreme change in my hair! I will not return! Tim improve your customer care and you may get a bigger tip, but your manners are unacceptable and rude to request more tips!

I was looking for a good hair salon in Northern Queens, and my friend recommended Artistique Hair Salon to me. I got the moisturizing hair treatment. It was really good, and it was reasonably priced. And Tim did a great job at blow drying my hair! I don't think my hair had ever felt so smooth, so soft and light-weight before. Love it!

First, I would like to thank Sofia for such a beautiful haircut and blowout. She was so friendly and kind - loved her energy. Will definitely be going back to her. Also, I got a good hair wash!! Very content with my hair looked at the end!! Thank you so much! Happy customer!! ☺️
