The One Hair Salon

I've been going to The One Hair Salon for about 4 years without any issues. My last and final visit was in September 2025 for the Japanese Hair Straigtening treatement. I think the stuff they used was expired or just bad because when they were done, a lot of my hair had broken off. The owner was aware of what happened and didn't apologize, and they even charged me $50 for ruining my hair. I was spending $200 twice a year and they treated me horribly. I won't return and I don't recommend going to them for any hair treatments.

I’ve been coming to see Sam for years—even followed her when she moved from a salon in Elmhurst! Her talent, attention to detail, and warm personality make every visit a great experience. My mom, my partner (who travels all the way from Long Island!), and a close friend have all become loyal clients too. We always leave feeling confident and refreshed. If you’re looking for someone you can trust with your hair, I can’t recommend Sam enough!

Every time I need to get my hair done I always come here ! Anytime I just walk in and they take me 💕 They wash my hair so good I love how long they take washing my hair , and after spending a certain amount they do free hot oil treatment which I love ! Everyone so friendly and upbeat I love here! 10/10 my favorite quick spot for wash and blow dry ! No matter the style my hair is so healthy and glossy thanks to them

I have been a customer of this hair salon for many years and I’ve always been very happy with their services. Steven is absolutely fantastic, very skilled, professional and personable. He always knows what my hair needs and the end result never disappoints. Highly recommend him and the hair salon!

This is my favorite salon in Astoria. I never have to wait long and I always get exactly what I am looking for. Everyone is so sweet and skilled(shout out to Jane! She's amazing). You also can't beat the prices of their services, especially in an area that has so many overpriced salons that don't deliver. I'll always come back to The One Hair Salon!

I have been coming here for 9 years. Even moving out of Astoria I still come from Harlem for my color, hair cut and blowouts. Their blow outs are next level and people ask me every time where I go to get such a good finish! The blow outs last me a week! Beyond reasonably priced for the quality. Can not recommend highly enough, they are the BEST!
