I either come on google reviews when I'm blown away or absolutely disgusted by a business. This one is chef's kiss. As a European, I find it hard to find someone able to nail a good blonde. Not only was my hair absolutely GORGEOUS, but the service was out of this world. Offered snacks, drinks, let me work during my appointment, gentle hands, gentle products and techniques – absolutely gorgeous work. I live in Manhattan and do the commute because why change when you find perfection? Before after attached!

Had such a great experience here! Manuel did my hair and clearly knows what he's doing. The best haircut and blowout I've ever got. Dorian also gave some guidance on what color he thought would look best and he was not wrong. Definitely will be going back

I came in 3 months ago with virgin black Ecuadorean hair and left with a balayage that will secure me a rich husband. If you’re like me, thin hair, afraid to change your look because your natural color looks so good but you want to have some fun, this is the place to go! Manuel Enrique worked with me to find the right mix of brown/blonde (trust me, I never thought blonde would look good on me) and "she" looks good! I loved the salon, the vibe, the staff, and the natural products they use. Highly recommend!

Shout-out to my amazing hairdresser Dori! I actually travel from Tampa just to get my haircut with him—because no one does it like Dori. He always gets it right, pays attention to every detail, and I leave looking younger, refreshed, and feeling my best every single time. On top of his talent, he’s such a great person and makes the whole experience a pleasure. I also love the atmosphere in the salon—it feels like one big family. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and positive. For me, it’s worth the trip and truly a "win-win" situation: I get the perfect haircut I love and an excuse to spend the weekend in NYC!

These guys know what they're doing! I've been living in New York for three years and struggled to find the best hair salon. The minute I tried Rara, the search was over. Liliana is the friendliest hair dresser I've ever worked with and she is a wizard with color. I receive compliments on my hair color everyday. I also worked with Dori recently and he's also wonderful, talented, and nailed my hair color and cut. I cannot recommend this place enough!

I used to wait to get my hair done until I’d visit family out of state, but I stopped after my first appointment with Dori. He’s so good that I still get compliments on my hair 6+ months after an appointment, making it well worth every dollar (and hour) spent with him. I appreciate that he also shows concern in keeping hair healthy, so I trust him to always do what’s best. I’ve lived in NYC for almost 7 years at this point and it took me 6 to finally find my stylist. You will not regret it!
