I desperately needed my hair cut while visiting Albuquerque and was able to get in, same day, due to a cancellation. Chong took care of me in the best way possible. She listened to what I wanted (not to cut too much bc I have curly hair), and then performed an expert cut!

She made me feel so relaxed and wasn't afraid to offer suggestions. This will be my go to salon from now forward! I recommend this establishment whole heartedly! Matthew creates a really great atmosphere in his salon with the stylists and the customers alike. He is down to earth, obviously has great taste in decor, and hires talented but 'real' stylists. And reasonable prices. (Leslie is my favorite stylist!). Highly recommended!!

Matt does a great consultation. If he doesnt think that the style you ask for doesn't suit your hair type, he will make suggestions. He's always tactful. Our whole family of 5 goes to him and we are always satisfied.

At Studio #117 on December 29, 2018 I had the worst hair experience in my life. I was taken advantage of by a woman who claimed to be an expert on sewing in hair. Ananise did not properly wash my hair nor did she use the right materials to braid my hair up. I was feeling unsatisfied and when I expressed that I wanted her to fix my hair, she gave me a very unprofessional attitude and wanted to put it off. I consulted other beauticians and hair connoisseurs alike and they said that my hair was not supposed to look the way it did. I took my hair down that night and clumps of my hair came out. I paid Ananise $150 but she did not want to refund me my money. When I asked for my money back, she called me the devil and said that she would not like to see me again. My mother had to go inside of her church and she only refunded me half of my money back when I had to drive to and from Gallup. She refused to pay me another $60 even though she damaged my lace frontal when she resewed it two times.
