AAA Rated. Donette is the best. Absolutely loves her job, truly passionate about cutting hair, a master of her craft, and a genuine/sincere person. High quality stuff (brushes, shampoos, etc.) sold in store. Reasonable pricing. Unmatched. If I moved away from Albuquerque, I'd return periodically for no reason other than to see Donette (that's how good she is).

Kayla has been my hair stylist since she started doing hair. She always takes into consideration what I want done with my hair and turns it into something even more beautiful than I could’ve imagined. She is kind, outgoing, and amazing at what she does. If you want someone to do your hair who really has an eye for it, then go to Kayla! Her personality makes all of those long color processes feel like minutes. She’s amazing at what she does and continues to want to learn more about hair each day. She really is an inspiration to everyone around her, she had a dream and went for it without hesitation. She still amazes me to this day how much she has grown as a hair stylist. Thanks for the beautiful locks Kayla!

I had been going to another Salon for over 8 years and was settling. Haven’t been happy with my hair in years. I sought out this salon because of the product lines offered. The owner not only did an amazing job on my hair but came up with a long term plan to improve length and quality of my hair. What an added benefit to have a plan to work toward as well as being educated on how to better care for my hair. Staff is friendly! I thought other clients were family.

My hair is so fussy and I have had a problem with past stylists but Avalon Salon did the best job! I can leave the salon feeling awesome and go straight to an event. I would highly recommend them to anyone! They are color specialists and their extensions are incredible!

Donnette Padilla is the owner/operator and my long time stylist-friend - and is beyond a doubt THE best colorist, stylist I have ever had in the many (25+) years that I have had my hair in various stages of being cut, colored, permed, hi-lighted, long hair, short hair and beyond (ha!) and through it all she has been the expert and professional in all areas. Her shops are always beautiful and inviting a real "spa atmosphere" to experience being there! I look forward to the next 25 years with her! Yay!!

Stephanie is so awesome. She did an amazing job on my daughter's hair. She has long red hair and wanted long layers. Stephanie rose to the occasion and made my daughter's hair look brilliant. Thank You!!!

I don't know the name of the girl that cut my hair but she couldn't stand up straight and had her hair in her face. I was about to because I had been waiting nearly an hour when she called my name. I should have left but was told that I was in good hands, no not even close. She got one side 2 inches shorter than the other and the back was too long. Really bad experience, and they charge too much!
